Children's Elephant Quilt (India)

This whimsical children's quilt from the Himalaya Trading Company features animal motifs including elephants, peacocks, and camels in a very traditional design of Jaipur, India.

The design is block-printed by hand on the white background and boasts a blue, green, and red color scheme. Made of 100-percent cotton with a cotton filling, this quilt is machine washable. It measures 52 inches x 44 inches, just right for a child's room.

"This is a lovely quilt that is very warm considering its light weight. The red color is really more of a sienna red or ochre, rather than a true red. However, it's beautiful and a great value."

"I bought this for my grandson. It arrived in a timely manner. When I saw it I fell in Love. The picture does not show the hand stitching, nor does it depict that it is in fact a 'Quilt'. It is Very generous in size for a child. perhaps even as a chair throw for adults. The only problem is that it is exactly as pictured. Not as described. That is esspecially true for the colors. there is no red anywhere. it is (depending on your vision and hue range) like a peachy-gold or light tanned orange to some. In any case it is gorgeous and more than worth the money. Again look at the picture for color that is what you get. I am thrilled and reccomend this to any and everyone. also it had no odd smell or odor out of the package. another plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
