"We purchased 2" memory foam to go on our king-sized bed. We already bought new pillow-top mattresses but they were still lacking. We were tossing and turning all night. Purchased the memory foam and WOW does it make a difference. It shipped lightening fast. The smell dissipated quickly and it took it's correct form within 2 hours. We slept on it the day it came. Would highly recommend especially if your back hurts! Great price and great quality."

"OK, I have bought several versions of this on line and the Serta is the nicest. There is no smell, they unfold nicely if left alone and are very very comfortable. I bought these for an arthritic nun in her 80's that said she had her first full nights's sleep in years (she has knee and hip problems). They are so impressed with the product that I ordered a second one for another nun that has Rheumatoid arthritis and usually has to sleep in a chair and get up and walk in the middle of the night...who had her first good night sleep that she can remember...she woke up once but fell back to sleep - what a testiment!"

"Got a good bed that is starting to wear out? Need to extend the life of your mattress? My high-end pillow top mattress is 5-years old and now uncomfortable. Bought this hoping to get reliel and I did! Went for 2-inch to ensure fit over my sheets and not make my bed too tall (think about that as climbing into bed might not work for everyone). Picked 4-lb for density, it is a bit firm for my taste, maybe a 3lb would be a bit less firm? If anyone out there knows that, please post. Product did have the polyurethane foam smell when first opened but went away quickly, left it to air out for a week and it was fine. Sleeping on it is wonderful and the mattress topper pretty much eliminates bed movement, so if the person you sleep with is restless or moves around lots, you are not going to notice it anymore. This was an added bonus! Bottom line - buy this if you want a little more comfort from your mattress and your sheets/bed will fit with the additional height gained by adding the mattress topper. Oh yes, this was the lowest price on the web by half! Deal!!"

"We received this order quickly, it was packed beautifully. It took but all of 4-5 seconds for the mattress to spring into shape.It has a little bit of a smell at first but after a few days the smell goes away. The quality is the best, don't buy anything other than a Serta Memory Foam Mattress Topper. We bought the 2-inch and it is perfect. "After doing some research we were convinced to buy the 2" 4lb/cu. ft. memory foam. It fit fine under our existing mattress pad (over a European pillow top mattress). The only difference we notice in the bed is that we sleep better. We really don't feel any difference when we get into bed. It's as comfortable as our bed always was (we love our mattress). We just seem to sleep better."

"We ordered the Serta 2" memory foam topper after having used the Serta 4" which was very comfortable but made the bed too high and hard to make (not to mention that my husband didn't really like it). "Seems pretty good so far. Had it over a lumpy sleeper sofa mattress and the guest who slept on it for a week had no complaints. She said she couldn't even feel that blasted bar that goes across the back of every sleeper sofa bed. The mattress definitely stinks when you first open it. Let it air out for at least a week before using it."

"I bought this for my med-student daughter, who's always been a light sleeper, lives an absolute crazy schedule, and her own mattress isn't a great one to begin with. I was looking for a decent solution that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I studied the different "memory foam" types in google and I chose this one for its highest density. I wish the higher density foam strip would be of more thickness than 1.5", and I would buy another 4" mattress topper with higher density memory-foam for a little higher price. She's more comfortable and is sleeping better using this topper than she did with her old egg-shell sponge topper."
