"I bought this monitor from Overstock about 2-3 years go. It works perfectly. I have NEVER had a problem with it. Best monitor for the best price I ever bought. I did alot of research before I bought it also, The only thing I would suggest is to NEVER allow anyone to clean the screen with windex or something cheap like that. You need special cleaner so you dont' mess it up. Thats how tight this monitor is. Enjoy!"

"This monitor provides the best image I've seen on a computer. I use it for image color and am not satisfied with the blue light of the current lcds. When lcds with led powered illumination come along at a reasonable price- another 6 years probably- I will stop using CRTs. The Butte explained: The screen has a very thin scratch inside the tube a third of the way from the top and bottom making this beautiful deal a four star instead of a five. Give it a go if they get more of these in. The Sony tube has a very sharp detailed image. You might even get one without a blemish."

Inexpensive Highly Capable CRT,September 4, 2007

"This CRT has a nice picture and the refresh rates are ATOUNDING for 3D shooters. It's quite an experience to play 1600x1200x100hz in a shooter. The refresh rate is key in fast paced games. Get this monitor if you like 3D shooters! It also does 1024x768 at 150hz!!! Some people will tell you that humans can only percieve about 24-30 frames per second. Thats not true, however refresh rates above 100hz dont seem much better than 100hz. You can easily see the fluidity of motion at 100hz compared to 60hz, which is what a television can produce. I have had to make little to no adjustments to the picture and it has been square at every res and refresh rate combination I have tried. I was unable to use the DVI port on my CRT, it appears to be defective. Also, sometimes it makes a high pitched noise similar to a TV, but it quite tolerable. BOTTOM LINE: If you want a highly capable CRT for high resolutions and refresh rates, I highly recommend this monitor for 3D gaming and would not recommend an LCD. AFAIK they only offer 56-75hz."

"Although CRT monitors are being passed over for their LCD bretheren, a CRT offers many advantages in resolution and color rendition. These Overstock.com monitors are advertised as factory remanufactured but it takes very careful examination to find any indication that they are not new product. Their overall appearance and operation is excellent. These genuine IBM branded 21 inch CRT monitors are a great buy."

"I have owned this monitor for about a year now. (bought it on overstock) and it's just an amazing monitor. controls are easy to navigate. supports widescreen resolutions too (but you should squash the picture so there is black on top and bottom for it to look right.) i've been gaming at 1920x1080. it has LCD quality if you pair it with a glare filter. my only complaint would probably be the black level, because when you turn the brightness up passed a certain number the blacks become gray-ish. you definitely need to fiddle with the controls to find a "sweet spot" (i recommend the star wars THX optimizer)"

"First monitor I received was damaged in shippment. No problems returning it. Overstock was very good at standing behind thier products 30 day return policy. The second monitor arrived in 2 weeks undamaged. Setup and adjusted picture.Very impressed with color quality and sharpness of picture. Has dual input capability with switch on front of monitor very handy. Very good for the price and shipping. Shipping from other sites would have cost up to 40 dollars. Only negitive is that upper left conor of picture has very slight vibration, most people would not even notice. Not worth returning over. Overall very good."
