"Usually when i purchase an item, i read the reviews. However, often the reviews are meaningless and seem dubious. I can say that I have only used the product once since I bought it, being winter I do not find the need to wax so often. Like all waxing, it was not painless; but the results were amazing. The best part is that the wax is water soluable...so NO MORE MESSES. well at least messes that can be easily cleaned. the strips are reusable as well -- after use just through them in some water and the wax comes off. yup, that covers it."

"This product is great! A friend had strongly recommended this wax and bought me my first jar. I've been hooked ever since. Not only is it easy to clean (a little warm water) but it is less painful and my (very sensitive) skin feels great afterwards, soft and moisturized. Additionally, it is more economical, comfortable and is made out of natural ingredients. I had been an advocate of waxing but never had any desire to do it myself. I was happy going to the salon and having them deal with the mess and blame them for the pain. Now I loathe going to the salon, getting undressed in a cold room and rushing home to take a shower. I buy it for people I like."

"I purchased this wax because of all the great reviews it received. I used this product on my upper lip and it did not pull any of the hair out. I used it a few more times and it still didn't pull any of the unwanted hair. The product worked okay when I used it on my leg hair, perhaps it was longer and easier to grab. I had to go back to my other wax product even though the other wax product usually leaves my upper lip red for an hour, but it does the trick. Anyway, I would not recommend this product unless you have long unwanted hair."

"I thought this product was ok. The good qualities are: it's definitely easier to clean, it's not as painful as regular wax, and it's safe to wax the same area multiple times. But what I really don't like is that you HAVE to wax the same area multiple times because it doesn't take the hair off in one application. It takes me 2 or 3 applications to remove the hair. It makes waxing much longer than when I used regular wax."

"I'm prefacing this by saying that it's expensive because it's basically sugar and water. The ingredients don't warrant the cost, but then what waxing product does actually warrant the cost? The strips are reuseable and easy to clean, this wax is easy to get off the skin, and it is fairly effective as far as removing any type of hair (facial hair, fine and coarse body hair). I like that it's a low temperature wax and it doesn't adhere to the skin too tightly, making it low on the pain scale. Someone below reviewed this and wished that it came with wooden applicators... This product arrived to me with wooden applicators in the same package as the strips that are also included."

"Wow!!!!! This is hands down the BEST wax I've ever used. It removed my hair from my bikini line with the least pain I've ever experienced. And I remove EVERYTHING down there, so you can imagine how much pain I normally go through. "Most easiest wax I ever used.I tried the ' green-gel ' from TV ,but that is very messy and before using Fortuna wax I thought that is easy.I'm going to order my second jar,my first jar is only half empty but I want to make sure I have more when I need it.Cleaning the cloths are 1-2-3.My best friend just ordered hers after she tried it and she never liked waxing before.This wax leaves your skin smooth not red and irritated like other waxes do."

"This was my first time ever waxing and I thought this product, Fortuna, was unbelievable. At first I thought, this stuff will never work and it will be extremely painful. Boy, was I wrong. The wax was pretty easy to use. Just heat it up, smooth it on, apply the strip and pull it off. I was surprised that it wasn't that painful. It did sting a bit, but only for a minute. I wasn't red and my skin was irritated. Plus, ALL the hair came off the first time. I do think it may be important to have long hair in order for the product to work properly. The wax was a little messy, but water cleaned that up quick. I also was amazed that you could really use the strips over again, I never would have thought they would get clean. All you have to do is soak them in warm or hot water for about five minutes and they come clean. I honestly couldn't believe it. I am planning on ordering at least two jars."

"I am almost done with this huge jar. It is easy to apply and pulls the hairs off great. The cloth stips are reusable, and I few I cut up to smaller ones. When you are done, just fill the sink up with hot water and let the strips soak in there for 5 minutes, they are rinsed clean. Just let them dry overnight on a towel and they are ready to use again. The wax can get a little messy, but great value for the price. I will re-order. I have sensitive skin and this gives minimal redness."

"OK folks, here's the deal. This stuff is GREAT! Cleans up easy, removes hair well. There are a couple of things you should know though that will make your experience better. A) The hair has got to be at least about 1/4 inch long for this stuff to 'grab' it well. It doesn't work that well on anything shorter. (This shouldn't be that much of a suprise, this is true of most types of waxing) B) When it says "rub firmly" it means it. For best results, you should start to feel the wax starting to come thru the muslin strips... when it does, it has also grabbed the hair. After that, just pull the strip off quickly, less pain than removing a bandaid, and the hair is gonesky. I bought two bottles to begin with, and am back for two more, so go figure. I have tried everything else, (father was the misssing link, inherited his hair) salons were painful, other kits created a filthy mess and took as much skin as hair, this stuff is without a doubt the way to go. Takes the hair, leaves the skin, and cleans up super quick. Made going brazilian non-scary, need I say more?"
