"I just love this machine. It makes a 2 1/2 lb. loaf of fresh bread in 3 1/2 hours. Just put in ingredients, program your preferences and out pops the best bread ever!!!! Couldn't be easier. The whole wheat loaves are light and delicious. I'm so glad I invested in this wonderful bread maker.

"It is simple and great to use. We go through a loaf of bread a day in our house so I use it regularly and I haven't had any problems with it.
Great white bread recipe:
1cup warm milk,
1 egg, 2 tbsp butter,
1/2 tsp salt,
1 tbsp sugar,
3 cups flour,
1 1/2 tsp yeast.

"We just received this machine a couple weeks ago and use it every day or so. We absolutely love it. Previous concerns that other customers listed included a hard to read screen and noise. Well I can see that the screen would be hard to read perhaps if you are very short, just as a hand held calculator can be hard to read it you tilt it the wrong way, but I don't have a problem. As far as noise, it is only noisy on the first knead, and no more noisy than I would expect considering the chore it is doing. I especially love the delay feature that you don't have to figure out how many hours/min until you want it ready, you just enter in the time when you want it ready. The standard recipes that can be displayed on the screen are also helpful, so I don't have to pull out the book when I just want to make some plain bread. Highly recommended! Value on overstock was also great, especially considering low shipping!"

"I recently moved to a rural area from a large city. I would have to drive 25 miles to buy bread (I refuse to eat the white bread the neighborhood stores sell). I had to do something so I purchased this machine. I love it. I have had it about 2 months now. I use it twice a week and it has never failed me. I think I forgot to put yeast in it once but that was my error. Feel good about purchasing this product. The price is great."

"I couldn't wait until my breadmaker arrived! It's been years since I had homemade bread. With my busy schedule, all I have to do in put in the ingredience, select the bake cycle, and off I go. Upon my return, I have fresh, delicious, baked bread for my family!"

"So far I've used it three times. It's been very easy and the bread comes out great. I really like the rapid setting. It did come with a dent in it but so far it hasn't been a problem."

"Produces excellent bread and very easy to use. Replaced my excellent TR2200 model (which I dropped--on my foot!). Smaller footprint makes it easier to store. Loses 1 star due to overcrowded LCD panel which is hard to read for a shortie like me"

"Works fine. Easy to use, easy to see display in a properly lit room. Cleans up easily. Wish I could find some spare parts (bread pan/stirring paddle) for it though, so I could have replacements come the day when these get too beat up."

"Am very pleased with the Salton Bread Maker, as it is user friendly. The only complaints would be that it takes bright light or a flashlite to read the display, and the baking pot should be teflon coated. Otherwise the machine is five star."

"This is my first ever breadmaker, so I'm not able to compare it to other models. On the other hand, it's my first ever breadmaker and so far I've made six different, delicious, perfect loaves of bread with it. It's very easy to use and clean. I am very impressed with how I can just add all of the ingredients (in the order speficied in the instruction manual) and walk away. The machine mixes and kneads the dough amazingly well, I've yet to see any loose flour that did not mix into the dough. My only complaint is that the machine is quite loud during some stages of kneading. Some stout whole-wheat doughs make a very loud racket as the spinning mixing paddle slams the firm dough into the sides of the pan several times per second. The end result is delicious, though!"

"I wanted a good bread machine, and this Overstock price was a steal. I hadn't used a bread machine before I got this one, but with the easy-to-understand instructional video I was making my first loaf within the first day. My first loaf was a two pound loaf of white bread, and it came out PERFECT with very little effort on my part.
Clean up was beyond simple, and I love all the options it comes with. I can't wait to start making different breads and doughs with this machine."
