"Yep, this smart little pda is no longer being made. I found out just after I ordered it. Then I considered sending it back. But alas I couldn't. It seemed to truly fit the bill. Soooo I let it in the house. Wow! I love this little pda. I've been wanting something that carried the usual, like contacts, calendar etc. But I got so much more. Imagine my surprise when I went to a local wi-fi Tully's that the thing would just jump on by itself. Great. I connected real easy. I regularly use the bluetooth at home, cause I'm trying to avoid computer injuries. I needed to change my habits and this little life drive has me tapping away. Which by the way, I didn't think I would like the stylus thingy. But hey-no problem here. It is very comfortable to do,and it saves my WRISTS! Also really neat is the fact that you can use regular writing in the notes. Cool. No what's even cooler, is the voice memo feature. Did I say that I love this thing? I drive it just fine, it doesn't drive me-like my 'nice' little computer does. And space, well 4gigs is pretty snazzy-Can you get that much in a Blackberry? Need more room just get a 2 gig card. So, little ol me has 3-2 gig cards, one for each of my endeavors. Plenty o' room. If there is any design feature that I would change it would be the nav buttons at the bottom. A little too big, they take up valuable screen real estate. I'd put them on the side or make them much smaller. Well, now I'm hoping that Palm, replaces it with something similiar. I'd like to get one for my daughter and family for christmas-Yes instead of a pda phone. I didn't want everything in one phone. If I lose, break or drop it in the barbeque, then I'm schtuck! Sooo I love my pda!"

"The Life Drive is very complete in it's abilities, but slow compared to the Zire72 we previously had, reportedly because of the 4G of memory. It's a little complicated to understand how to access all the features. We ended up having to get a lot of help from Palm technical support. Also, we could not synchronize with our Zire72 data without having fatal errors with the LifeDrive programs."

"Well what is to be said about the Life Drive from Palm?
Cool,Well thought out, easy to use, with out adout a great bussness machine.
I owned a E2 from palm and it was good to cut your teeth on how these units worked. But it left me wanting more. The Life Drive has plenty to offer including a easy to use wireless internet WIFI conection.
I'm not sure why Palm chose to drop this unit for the TX but it may have some thing to do with it's size. It's over doubble the size of a E2 or a TX width wise.
It's size could be contrubeted to the fact it posseses a real 4 gig hard drive internaly. If it's quiet you can hear the hard drive worling.
So look carefuly and consider this unit may be what your looking for,Many cool fetures but it's large size may be a turn off.But for the die hard techo geeks it may place you in the mind of a "tricorder".with a well placed "he's dead Jim" as you wave it over someone. But for some one whom needs a laptop power and ease of something in your pocket this is the unit for you.
Till i buy something else

"I love it! I bought it "blemished" and saved $100. For the life of me, I can't find a single scratch. It didn't come with a manual but the Palm site is easy to navigate and find anything I want including a large 160 page pdf with all the details. The screen is large and clear and I enjoy the fact the screen viewing can be changed. I have not yet learned to view any movie clips but that is next on the list. Overall, it was an excellent purchase compared to the other sites at $100 to $150 more."

"This PDA I absolutly awesome. it's easy to use, has a lot of cool feeatures, and who doesn't love 4 gigs on a palm? There is a tiny tiny ding the size of a pin head on one side, I'm assuming thats what made it "blemished." other then that I can't tell.
The WiFi is great because you can use it at Hotspots, and on your home network. within about 10min time I went online, transfered funds, and paid my mortgage, while at the mall!
I upped my shiping to the '3-5 buisness days,' I ordered it on Tues afternoon and got it Friday afternoon.

"I bought the "blemished" lifedrive and I could not find a single scratch on it. It came with the software, charger, and a small case. What a deal! Everyone thinks I spent a lot more than them (most students puchased the T3) But, not with overstock. Works Great - Great Deal!"
