"I saw these rocking chairs on the web and I just had to have them. They looked so comfortable. I ordered two of them and I have really enjoyed them. They are so easy to put together and they sit so good. I would reccomend them to everybody. They look great on the porch. Every one that comes to my house I ask them to sit down and try them. Everybody loves them when they sit down and try them out.I have had several rocking chairs on my porch but these are the most well built chairs I have bought..I like these chairs very much and would hate to do with out them . A great buy and a great price."

"This chair is very large; much larger than it appears. It is a good value for the money, but this chair is not suited to a woman's size unless she is tall and larger. My husband is 6'4" and he fits in it with room to spare. It has short rungs and so the rocking motion is clipped. It is not a bad chair at all, could use some better finishing. But, if you are a smaller to medium size person then just know the chair is large!"

"I ordered two chairs. The first went together without any problems. On the second, several holes needed to be redrilled. Rocking motion on both is slightly uneven, but overall they are comfortable and don't require cushions. Durability could be an issue. I've only had them for about a week, but doubt they'll last more than a year or two. For the price, they look good sitting on the porch."

"This rocking chair is fabulous! I wanted something for my front porch so I could read comfortably while I watch the New Mexico clouds pass overhead. The chair is beautiful, sturdy, and comfortable. One slight problem -- after I put a nice, thick cushion on the seat my feet didn't touch the ground (important for rocking!!) -- I'm only 5'4". A cute little 10" high wooden footstool from Michael's, finished to match the chair, is the perfect solution. I highly recommend this rocking chair."

"This chair is very good looking and a terrific value; however, the parts that need to be put together are constructed with very low tolerances for things like holes lining up properly or even being drilled deep enough to accommodate bolts. We had to redrill several holes and ended up needing to get a replacement for a piece that could not simply be redrilled.I purchased two chairs and the first one went together with only minor issues, but the second one was a frustrating disaster - not what I expected with all the great reviews that are posted. Overstock sent a replacement piece fairly quickly, but not without some customer service confusion.I would recommend this product with serious reservations."

"They look as shown in the picture--they have a very generous seating area. Two of the screws provided didn't work ,causing hubbie to have to make a run to the hardware store. They look good and feel pretty solid once assembled, but they are not very comfortable--back is too straight and they don't have a very smooth rocking motion. Seat cushions are a must if you are going to sit in them for any length of time..But for the money I would still recommend them."

"I wanted old fashioned looking rocking chairs for our front porch and these fit the bill. They were not real expensive, available in multiple colors, they seem very sturdy so they should last a long time. They are pretty straight up and down, so you don't slouch into them at all. They were a cinch to put together. I'd buy them again, no question."

"I bought this idenitcal rocker at a club member store a few years ago. It's withstood the test of time & seasons beautifully. I love this rocker so much I bought 2 more from Overstock.com. It is easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I reccomend applying a wood seal if used outside."

"I bought these rocking chairs for our front porch and put them together myself. I'm not handy but it didn't take very long to put them together. They are perfect for our porch. I'd recommend buying some cushions for the seat and back-they are a little hard. Otherwise, they are terrific!"

Great Deal, May 17, 2009
By PamFromMissouri from Missouri

"Amazing price for these rockers. I ordered two. Love the look. Took a couple of hours for my husband and I to put together one of these. Simple diagram pretty easy to follow. Sturdy construction. These should last a long time. Love the color and smooth feel of the sanded wood - looks similiar to mahogany grain. Heavier than I expected. Good value for the money I spent. No regrets. One star off for the comfort. Happy about the wide seat."

"I bought two of these rockers and am totally pleased with them. The weight is not flimsy, the assembly was easy (once I got used to the nut and bolt usage!) I didn't have any issues with alignment of the holes. It took a little less than an hour to put together (by myself!). I like the color of the oil finish. I find them to be comfortable without a cushion, but adding a cushion would be great if you plan to spend the afternoon rocking on the porch! I would recommend these to anyone - I don't think you can beat the price!"

"The rockers arrived very quickly. They require assembly and we had some problems with one of the two in the holes for the bolt assemblies did not line up well. A quick drilling out fixed that.

They look good and seem to be weathering well. The seat and back are a little flat but not uncomfortable. The rocking action seems a little off... perhaps it is the curve of the rocker boards.
