Installation hardware includes: 4 x 10 ft. strands of nylon rope (1 per corner) 8 x 3/16" Wire rope clips which create a loop at both ends of the Nylon Rope 4 x 5/16" recessed wood anchors with 4 x 5/16" Screw Eye loops which screw into wood anchors and provide loops for Nylon rope 8 x 5/16" Nuts and Washers 4 x 1/4" Turnbuckles (1 per corner) to allow for adjustments to tension after hanging
Nylon ropes may be looped around anchor points such as metal poles or concrete pillars directly or used with screw eye loops and wood anchors for wooden anchor points such as trees or wooden posts (POSTS NOT INCLUDED).
A drill with boring bit in a slightly smaller diameter than the anchor itself will be required to create a pilot hole for the wood anchors

"I purchased the 12 by 12 shade then ordered the 12 ft triangle and the combination looks great. I did chose to use stainless cable instead of the supplied cord. My only surprise was the square shade has a seam about 18 inches from one side running the entire length that didn't show in the web photo.(Maybe they all don't have it and I should have tried to return it.) Overall great look and value."

"I haven't had it long enough to know how durable it is, but it seems well constructed, was a good price, and looks pretty good. Not that it matters a lot, but one thing it says in the instructions that it would have been nice to know is that they recommend you attach diagonal corners at different heights than the opposite diagonal corners. Since we attached to a house, we couldn't do that, but it attached to the house just fine despite not being higher or lower on adjacent corners."

"This sunshade is a good idea, but the size keeps it from being as useful as expected. I bought it to cover the front of a house to keep the sun from shining in and heating up the house. The shade is well constructed and made of durable, breathable material so it hangs up as nicely as I had hoped. So far it looks durable and with enough breathability that rain or a light breeze will not pull it from its hooks, making it less of a concern if you forget to take it down. Though it does block the sun well, the size is not large enough to really cover the area desired unless the sun is almost directly overhead. A sun less directly overhead only gives a few feet of shade on the side opposite the sun. A minor annoyance is that I ordered a white color, but it arrived looking beige/light tan, even thouhg it is advertized as looking bright white in sunshine."

"My wife & I bought this as our pool is exposed to full sun throughout the day and we wanted some shade for our 9 month old when he's in the pool. This shade is very durable and looks good. We have received numerous comments on it's appearance and the convenience of shade from the 100+ degree heat in Texas. It works great to lower the water temp and alleviate water level evaporation in your pool as it blocks some of the full sun. I wish Overstock carried the next biggest size though. Installation is a little challenging as you will need a minimum of two people, definitely not a one person job as you will make numerous mistakes trying to get it to stretch correctly and avoid drooping."

"We had just finished our deck and needed shade from the sun. I knew what I wanted and found it on Overstock. A friend told me about the shade he bought for his pool and how happy he was with the product. I had to be put on a waiting list till more product was avalible and now I have mine. It took us ten minutes to put it up and the shade has made at least 7-10 degrees diference on our deck. Our dogs are very happy about that and we can have lunch out there and be comfortable. The quality of the product was better than I thought it would be, the size was true to discription and the color was perfect. We did have one little problem with the one end not matching up to the hook but we could have pre measured wrong, but with a few tweeks it was up.We are happy happy happy so far."

"I do not blame the company of Overstock.com--I realize that it is a clearinghouse for other companies product, but the product described was to be 11 feet 10 inches on each side--an almost 12x12 square. This was NOT the case.--it only measured those dimensions at the very corners of the material. The center part was closer to 8 feet across, making the area a considerable size smaller than advertised. The hardware was not very good either. My husband had to fix several of the fasteners in order to use them. I cannot say that we're too happy with this purchase."
