"I absolutely love this product! I have not used a sewing machine for over 20 years. The directions were easy to follow and I was sewing before I knew it. I love the different stitches that I have to choose from. I do alot of scrapbooking and I stitch my photo mats. With Brother, I am doing it with ease. I can not say enough about the Brother XL-2230. Amazing price for an amazing sewing machine. I highly recommend it to anyone, experienced or beginner."

"Good quality, fast delivery, and an excellent value. Great for someone just beginning to sew, or someone who doesn't need all the fancy stitching, although it has about 20 different stitches. My only regret is that I didn't order a case for it."

"This is one of the most frustrating sewing machines I have ever used. The uptake lever is so far embedded in the machine that it is almost impossible to thread. Thr grippers under the fabric do not pull the fabric through. I have a friend who bought the same brand, lower price model, and she had the same problem. I would return the darned thing, but it's too heavy, I lost the packing material, and I don't need more frustration.
Until this experience, I had very good luck with O'stocks. But you might notice I haven't bought very many things since. Once burned twice shy.
I wonder if this review will make it onto your website."

"I purchased this machine as a birthday gift for myself. I have been wanting a sewing machine for years as I have been sewing by hand since I was 16 years old. This machine is very user friendly. The first day I got it I began using it as if I am an expert. I love my Brother sewing machine, it has many built in stiches and many sewing foot options. This machine really takes the chore out of sewing."

"the machine is great. It has several different stitches, works just fine and for the price is a great value.
It was shipped immediately and for the $2.00 shipping it was a real bargain.
It is not brand new, but refurbished, which is fine. What can go wrong with a sewing machine anyway.
It is a great machine for a beginner or young student. It is very light to carry and very portable but sturdy.
I would recommend it."
