"My valet came promptly (early) and was so simple to assemble. It looks great and fits nicely into a small space. you should be careful with the hanger. it looks like it might be more on the fragile side since there really isn't much support, but we have ours by a wall so the kids can't get to it. My husband is thrilled with his present."

"I bought one for myself after I had given this to a friend as a Christmas gift. Assembly was a bit time consuming due to the multiple parts. However the finished product is beautiful, durable, and functional. I love this clothes valet and am considering buying a third one this Christmas. I would recommend this item in a jiffy! Thanks O!"

"I got this as a gift for my husband, who works at a job that requires a button up shirt and tie. He likes to get his clothes ready the night before and this is perfect for keeping everything together and neat. It was very easy to put together. The only problem I have with it is that the tie hanger on it was made a little crooked so that one side sits a little highter then the other. Other then that, we both love it."

"I bought this valet for my husband after my brother purchased the identical item. It looks nice and serves its purpose. However, it was a bit unstable and did not feel sturdy after assembly. My husband drilled extra holes and placed some of his own screws in to increase the stability."

"Stand did require minimal assembly, looks great. The tie holder was a little week and off kilter just a tad, however at the price the overall valet was a great purchase at a very good price. I would recommend that you use a little wood glue in the screw holes.Cheers"

"I have searched hi and low for a men's valet that I could physically see but apparently they are only sold online. My main concern with purchasing online was the fact that I would have to assemble it which may cause it to be less sturdy that its pre-assembled counterpart. Yes, I had to assemble it however it was fairly quick and the instructions are great. We did run into a problem with one screw that just pulled itself out with a part of the pressed wood. We will have to disassemble it and reassemble with wood glue which is only a small pain. I would say that for the price, this is a great valet."

"I really like this valet for the cost. Easy to assemble and solid once it's done. Only very minor issue I have is that my ties keep sliding off of the tie rack, especially when removing pants from the valet. Otherwise, I really like this one."

"First of all the price on the valet is very good. This is the lowest price I could find online and in the stores. It was very easy to assemble. I did it by myself. You will need minimal tools: Philips head screwdriver and a hammer. It looks great when assembled and it is a good size valet. If someone is looking for a simple and almost luxury valet then look no further."

"I bought this for my husband as a gift for our anniversary. Odd gift I know, but that's what he wanted and really needed. Package came in quickly and he assembled it easily. IT LOOKS AMAZING!!! I am very pleased with it. Some previous reviews said the little box for misc. items was too small, but my husband has no complaints and says it easily holds what he needs in it. On a note, it is slightly redder than pictured but no where near close enough to be a problem. And I've only had it a few days so I can't really report on how well it holds up over time, but what a great buy! OVERSTOCK does it again with another great product!"

"On looking at the finished product this is a beautiful piece of furniture. However, when I received it and started to assemble it, the side pieces,literally fell apart...The first two pieces that I was instructed to attach was missing the proper screw which the instructions said I should have....I was provided with a 1/2 inch screw which pulled right out of the wood. I had to locate from my own reserves and install my own screw. Then, the anchors into which the bolts were suppose to screw into, connecting the vertical to the horizontal pieces pulled right out of the wood while tightening the bolt. The only way that I was able to assemble this thing was to. again, raid my tool draw, and get some wood glue to anchor everything together."

"I received the stand on exactly the estimated UPS delivery date. It was well packaged and in good condition. Upon opening the box I found all the required parts for assembly were clearly labled and included a detailed assembly sheet. The assembly took about 15 minutes. On completion the stand was very solid, all parts fit well and the wood & metal finish was well done. It is now in daily use in my home. Overstock.com is now the first place I look when searching for a specific product or just browsing. Thanks."

"The finish on the wood was rough in places and on one piece, the dowel hole was too roughed out to work properly.Some predrilled screw holes did not match up. In final assembly, the unit does not balance on all four rubber bumpers. Overall, the quality control in this piece is not good enough for me to recommend it at even half of what we paid for it."

"I purchased this stand for my husband to hang his uniform on. Prior to this he was hanging it on my dining room chairs and getting upset when out 3 year old got it dirty. I am so happy to have this stand so that his uniform is put up and away from our son. It was easy to assemble and it looks great in our bedroom. I looked at some more expensive versions and I felt like this one looked better. I would recommend it to anyone who has a person in their life that needs a place to hang their "work" clothes."
