"I absolutely love this book. The web that is woven in all of the interconnecting stories is amazing. This was a story that I was able to just fall under its spell and never wanted to come out.

It starts as a story of a girl in that lives in the garden of royalty. She has been shuned there for a tattoo of stories across her eyes. She eventually starts telling the prince all of the stories. And the way that they unwind into each other is just magical."

Love You Forever

Love You Forever

A young mother holds her newborn son and sings him a song of endearment. As he grows older, he becomes an active two-year-old, a rebellious teenager, and an adult. Throughout, the mother holds him while he sleeps and sings him the same song. When she grows old and becomes sick, it's the son's turn to hold her and sing it to her--just as he now does with his own baby. This simple story is about the enduring nature of a parent's love and how it crosses the generations.

"I absolutely love this book. I got two when I was pregnant. My boy and I sing the key phrase from it to each other. It is a heartwrenching story about the how much love a mom has for her child and then how much that child has for both his mom and his newborn. I still can not read it without crying (loving tears that is).

I now buy one for every one of my friends when they are expecting."

Not quite what I expected, February 27, 2008

"I bought this pack for my 4 year old son and 10 year old niece to use. It was not easy to 'pop' out the individual pieces. My husband even broke some and had to use a sharp knife (which the kids could not use).

During the assembly process some amount of glue will be needed to ensure that the product stays together, so that the animals can just stand. Otherwise the product continually falls apart.

I still like the concept, but there was more work on my end than expected. I thought that I would be able to supervise and allow the kids the chance to build and learn. I ended up breaking the pieces apart (they could not and a knife was necessary), assembling the pieces (since the notes were not thorough enough for the kids to understand), and glue was absolutely necessary."
