"I've enjoyed this umbrella since the day it was delivered. The thermometer is nice, although naturally reads higher when directly in the sun. The lighting system is spectacular and even my teenage daughter really enjoys it! The clock is great, as I often don't wear a watch at home, and lose track of time when sitting out on the patio. It is actually wider than our previous umbrella, which was an expensive one, yet the mechanism is much smoother to operate. I would definitely buy another one like it, and recommend it to others."

"I love the amber lights, although when my umbrella arrived, several of the bulbs needed to be pushed back into their holes on the ribs. But it was easy to do and they've stayed in. I ordered what looked like an 8-rib umbrella, but the one I received was 6-rib. Other than that, it's a very attractive umbrella, easy to operate, and a great value."

"Overall the lighted umbrella is very nice. Assembly was simple. The crank to raise and lower the umbrella is easy to turn. Lights are bright with three lighted settings, strobe, flashing and constant. The aluminum pole seems a little less sturdy than our previous umbrella. Nonetheless, it has stood up to some breezy conditions during the three weeks since we received the umbrella."

"I have been very pleased with this umbrella and Overstock.com's delivery service. I received the umbrella within a week I believe, it's been almost 2 months now, and it's great. The umbrella was easy to set up. I love the color, I bought the red one, which it's a nice red and very cheerful. The thermometer built into the umbrella is a nice touch. The umbrella is easy to open, close and tilt. For the cost, this is a great umbrella. The last two umbrellas I purchased cost the same and did not have lights or a thermometer. The lights are especially nice since our deck only has one light off to the side by the door so it's very dark out there. The lights on the umbrella could be a little brighter, they are an amber color, but as your eyes adjust at dusk it's okay. I had some candles burning on the table anyway. The amber lights probably help keep the bugs down so I'm not complaining. The lights can either flicker fast, slow or be steady. The only thing I wish was different is that that tie down was attached to the umbrella, it's completely unattached, which means there's a chance it could be misplaced if not careful. Also, you will probably need an extension cord to plug in the lights. I had to rearrange my deck furniture so the cord wouldn't be stretched out across the deck and become a safety hazard (I have young children). Eventually I will have a small hole drilled in the deck near the outlet so the cord can go under the deck, out of the walkway and move my furniture back where I had it. For now I'm very happy with the umbrella and highly recommend it."

"Our patio umbrella was on it's last leg and I had been looking for something practical that did more than just block the sun. This umbrella has lights and I can actually go out and read at night, comb out my dogs and just the other night I sat outside under my lit umbrella and traced quilting pieces until after midnight. That tells you the light is bright enough however it doesn't bother anyone else because it is direct lighting. We LOVE the umbrella and feel it is one of the smartest buys we have made in a long time. The lights will function as party lights as well but I was mainly interested in the steady, direct lighting. Itt's definately worth the money."

"After not being able to find a replacement umbrella in the store - (it was after all the second week in July and normal people are buying Christmas decorations after all.....) it occurred to me to try Overstock.com. I'm glad I couldn't find an umbrella in a store as this is a much better quality umbrella than what I normally would get for the price. The wide ribs in the umbrella seem very sturdy. The umbrella is a nice size with a vented top which is also a nice feature. The lights do look very cool at night but you need to bring in the adaptor as it is not very heavy duty."

"the umbrella is a good piece in general, but like other 'solar' powered items it certainly doesn't throw off enough light to be considered for anything other than some slight mood lighting. and even then it doesn't show until it's really dark. but for the money this umbrella is a great value in it's own right."

"I like the shade of green of my umbrella alot, it's very elegant and understated but bright enough to be cheery. Unfortunately the lights do not work and I'm not sure why. I was disappointed right of the bat that the lights had to be plugged in as I hoped maybe they were battery powered. I really don't like plugging things in outside, but could have lived with it if they worked. The crank is a good one, the thermometer is a nice touch and the pole and ribs seem nice and strong. The fabric seems to me to be kind of flimsy, but hopefully it is really strong stuff and will hold up well. Only other complaint is that the tie is not attached and when you put the umbrella up, you have to remember where you put the tie. I might just sew it on myself. Overall though, for the price, I think it is a good choice."

"The umbrella works well for us. We've had it a month. We got a green one. Easy to crank. Easy to tilt (because we're so tall and can reach the button). Short folks will have a tough time tilting, but really we don't use the function often. We don't often use the lights (if we plug it in, someone might trip...we need to run an extension cord). But they are fun when on. The kids love them -- they like flashing lights, adults like solid. It puts off a lot more light than we expected. Be aware the power cord which is a couple inches from the bottom of the pole can get wrapped up if the umbrella spins, so check that occasionally and 'unwind' the umbrella.I don't think the thermometer works at all, so I ignore that. The tie is not attached to the umbrella, so I just tie it on the pole when it's open.Time will tell how durable it is."

"Compared to our original, heavy-duty umbrella that was defective and you graciously allowed us to return, this one is a bit of a disappointment. Had we not experienced the larger that so perfectly matched our cabana and free-standing umbrella, I probably would have rated it Excellent. We continue to enjoy shopping at Overstock, recommend it all the time to friends, and appreciate your attentiveness, your willingness to please and the quality of your merchandise."

"This umbrella is beautiful. It has an easy crank system and the LED lights are fun. It is a little light weight for the Kansas wind and has blown off of my deck a couple of times, but other than that... it's perfect!"

"We ordered this umbrella for our deck and we love it. The only issue I have is the cord you need to turn on the lights. It's definitely long enough, but I was hoping the lights were solar powered so there was no cord - but that's not the case. Otherwise, it's perfect."
