"This umbrella is nice enough for the price. I did not read the description well enough on the lights, assumed they were powered by solar not electrical. To run an extension cord is not very practical. The fabric is a bit light weight. I am sure it will last one season, but will probably need to replace next year."

"i love my new umbrella. i have gotten so many compliments on it and i like the fact that there are different light settings so if i am in the mood i can just push a button and have a disco party if i want.i would definitely recommend this to a friend but i do see why the green and black would be a better choice because you can see the lights a lot better with the darker colors."

"This is the second Tropi-Light Umbrella that we have purchased. The first one was very durable, and we were even able to purchase a replacement canvas for it when the first one wore out.The only disappointment that I have in the second one is that it only has six spines, whereas the first one had eight. The photo of the umbrella showed eight spines, and that's why we bought the second one. We had hoped to use the canvas from the first one on the second one until worn, and then replace with the one that came with this umbrella. However, we still believe it to be a great value. We enjoy the LCD lighting when sitting on our deck in the evenings."

"I was very happy with this purchase, it is difficult to find a black umbrella. The lights are very nice and the overall construction is good. The umbrella does allow light through it, which at first I thought it should block out light completely, but so far I'm very happy with it."

"Nice umbrella with a very cool lighting feature and crank with concealed rope for raising/lowering. Note that the shaft is only 1 3/16", not 1 1/2" (one and one half inches) which is the standard shaft size. If you have a table with a 1 1/2" hole in it, get out the black duct tape, because you'll need to modify the shaft size to keep the umbrella in place. Still it's a nice product and should last fairly well."

"Am pleased with this umbrella. It's a nice, bright red, good construction, easy to raise and tilt. Lights are amber and not real bright but adequate for soft ambiance if that's the mood one is going for. Fabric of umbrella is not canvas but a polyester blend. Haven't had the umbrella long enough to determine how long it's going to last or if it will fade. Overall, very happy with product."

"I am impressed by the quality of this umbrella, considering the affordable price. It's beautiful, the red color makes my patio and neutral stone table "pop", and the crank mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. The lights are not very bright. They are more for decor and ambiance than for useful lighting. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend!"

"The construction appears very sturdy. Large enough to cover what we need. The lighting is fun...variations make it interesting. However, we'ver only had it a short time and already at least two of the lights have fallen out. It is too complicated to send back for this minor issue so we'll make due."

"This umbrella is a good value for the money. The LED lights offer enough brightness to enjoy a night time meal under the umbrella and still see your food. It s well made but I was somewhat disappointed in the thin, almost transparent polyester material that is used to make the canopy. Also, we ordered the "taupe" color but when received, the canopy is more of a light khaki green color... still neutral enough to coordinate with our chair cushions, but definitely NOT taupe or even tan."

"Umbrella is good quality and good price. My wife and I have used it a few times already and is a nice addition. Nice mood lighting that focuses all the light back onto the table due to the shape of the umbrella. It has alternating light patterns and thermometer that we don't use much or at all."

"I loved this umbrella as soon as I saw it. It's beautiful and looks much more expensive than what I paid for it. One of the main reasons I opted for this umbrella over others was because of the lights, which were BEAUTIFUL the first time we used them. All of our guests commented on the lights underneath the umbrella. However, the very next night when we tried to use them, they didn't work. We don't use this umbrella near water, it hadn't rained the night before, basically there was nothing to explain the malfunctioning lights. It was a big disappointment, and the only reason I wouldn't purchase this umbrella again or recommend it to friends."

"This umbrella was a deal. It has 9 feet coverage with quality materials and comes with LED's built in that make a nice warm glow at night. Cranking system is easy to use. It does require an AC outlet to use the lights though. Also has a thermometer if you are willing to squint at it for the temperature."

"I took a chance on the Umbrella and we just love. For the small amount that I paid for it I was certainly impressed with the quality. The lighting makes a cozy touch to any night time event. This would make a great gift to send knowing that the product is the quality that is described in the advertisment used to sale it."
