"Looks like a Ferrari, performs like a BMW. Always wanted a Dyson but the price of a new one was hard to justify. Overstock to the rescue. To me "refurb" just means inspected and tested twice. Easy to assemble, weight of vacuum is not an issue, everything works great. I highly recommend this vacuum."

"I read the reviews and decided to buy it. Am I happy. We just vacuumed with our old vacuum and when we got our Dyson we vacuumed again. Were we ever surprised how much it picked up even though we thought the rugs were clean. The gallon Ziploc bag was filled to the top. I would recommend a Dyson to everyone. My family members are trying my vacuum out prior to buying their own. It is amazing. Easy to move about and empty out. I have a disability and usually don't vacuum. This machine makes it so easy to use."

"We ordered a Dyson 14 three weeks ago and found it to be doing a very fine job. We love the power of the motor. It is very easy to work. We have not had it long enough to see how well it will hold up, but we are very happy with the product thus far and would get it again!"

"I bought this Dyson Vaccuum cleaner as my Dirt Devil wasnt performing good. As most of us, I heard a lot about Dyson and its performance. Though the website didnt exactly talk about all accessories that comes along with it, I found that this refurbished piece also include 3 attachments. Its been 4 weeks and its performing to a quite satisfactory level. What I most like about it is the light weight and the manouverability. Its easy to push this across the carpet. Dont need to put much force. And the way each of these buttons are designed is ingenius. Like the idea of the vertical handle stretching out of the top."

"Vacuum arrived in good condition, however the box did not, was splint down one side. Vacuum is very durable and easy to assemble. Suction and running of vacuum was good. The attachments are a bit awkward to use and i will have to say they do not have the same good suction as the sweeper part. The attachments are very secure on the sweeper i have had other bagless sweepers where the attachments are falling off it as you sweep. Love the long electrical cord, it is great and i can do the entire floor of my house without unplugging it (when plugging into the center of the house) Vacuum is easier to empty then the last two bagless vacuums, like having the "dump" feature. I hope it lasts longer than the 2 years i had the other vacuum. Seems like it was a good deal getting it as a refurbished model. I did have trouble registering it on the Dyson website and had to email them about it and they took my registration through email responding very promptly. The manual that came with vacuum was very easy to understand and had pictures to depict instruction."

"Refurbished DC 14 appeared to be in new condition when unpacked, ...assembled easily and performed exceptionally well. The amount of dirt recovered from a recently vacuumed 15x15 foot carpet by my old Dirt Devil was amazing. This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. Extension wand works just great in cleaning stairs from the bottom...also the best for doing window shades and blinds. I would, and have, recommended it highly to everyone."

"This Dyson is an incredible vacuum with the sucking power of an elephant. Only disadvantage of this machine is if you have cheap carpet it might ruin it by sucking all the fibers loose."

"First time Overstock customer. I wanted a good vacuum to replace the vacuum which failed after 3 years. I had never had a Dyson, but their reputation was good so I decided to give them a shot this time. I also wanted to save some money, so when I found a refurbished Dyson DC14 I was excited. It was priced about $125 under what a new model was listing for in a store.I could not be happier with the Dyson. Its power far surpasses any vacuum I have owned before, and the amount of dirt it picks up is amazing. You will want to vacuum your carpets more often because you never knew how much dirt your old vacuum was leaving behind.The construction of the dyson is interesting. There are many levers to move to release the various components from their locks, ie the vacuum wand from the handle (which is ingenious in design) or the canister when you go to empty it. It takes a little bit of time to figure out how to operate the components, but once you have it down, it works great.The construction is of rigid plastic. That makes me wonder how it will hold up over the long run, but I have had no problems with it yet.I am so happy with the DC14 that I wonder if I should have purchased a higher end Dyson.Lastly, the fact that the unit was reconditioned is negligible. The unit arrived packaged and cleaned just as a new unit would be.This is a good buy."

"Excellent machine. Works as promised. No difference between the new and the refurbished model except for the $150 I saved! We've gone through 4 vacuum cleaners that all basically shot the debris we were trying to vacuum out the back. No such problem with this one! Sucks up everything, gets in the corners, and the wand has tons of power... second only to a shopvac. The Dyson is by far the best!"

"I am truly impressed with this vacuum cleaner! The design is well thought out and the cleaning power is amazing. The night before I received the Dyson I had used my old bissell cleaner that I have always been happy with, but the dirt the Dyson still picked up was awesome. I even used the attachment tools to clean the dust off of my ceiling fans and blinds. It made dusting so easy. I will never buy a different brand again. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, I would recommend this vacuum for any pet owner."

"I bought the vac because I have pets and no carpet in the house. I wanted a vac that would pic up pet hair quickly and easily on hard floors. IT DOES. The machine easily switches to attachments for cracks and furniture and really gets dirt and hair you wouldn't even know was there. Despite the fact that my dog may very well wake up bald one day, the vac keeps on going. No loss of suction as the cylinder fills. Easy to empty. I roll it to the trash can, pop the cylinder out, hold in the trash can, and open the bottom. DONE.As always with Overstock, it was delivered quickly and I got a good deal."

"I have no complaints so far. My carpet looks cleaner and smells fresher after using this vacuum. I thought I was getting my floors clean before but now I can tell the difference. "I am very happy with this vaccum. It did take a little longer than I thought to be delivered, I think it sat on a UPS truck for a few days before the delivery guy was in the area. Overall though it picks up great; Love the bagless feature and was really relieved about the refurbished status. It was practically brand new. I have not been disappointed with anything I bought from Overstock! Go for it!"
