"We bought this Aztec Calendar after our trip to Cozumel. We saw and priced many while in Mexico, and even with bargaining, could not get the vendors to sell one for under $300 for this size. I was a little leary ordering it online without seeing the exact one we were getting. They are all hand painted and just a little bit different. Ours is absolutely perfect. The quality is the best I have seen! The colors are brilliant with no flaws or chips whatsoever! The photos don't do it justice. It is a beautiful piece of artwork and was very well packed in styrofoam to prevent any damage. The intricate detail is superb! You won't be sorry with this one!"

"Thousands of tiny pieces all meticulously painted and glued in place. An astounding piece of art for the price. The colors are very bright and the piece is varnished or laquered to give it a nice finish. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this."

"I bought this as a gift for my sister, i wanted to keep it for myself! The pictures do it no justice! The colors are so vibrant, and the craftsmanship is so amazing! The only part that caused a small problem was that it had no hardware, but with a welder as a husband my sister should have no problem figuring something out. I recieved my Aztec Calendar within a week of my purchase. They are out of stock now so i hope the restock so i can get one for myself."

"I bought this piece as an anniversary gift for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! We are extremely happy with the craftsmanship, colors, and finishing. This is a lovely piece of decor and it is more than worth the cost. Shipping was a little slower than is usual for Overstock purchases, but it arrived in about 3-4 weeks, very well packaged and in excellent condition."

"When in Mexico about 20 years ago I bought an Aztec calendar for $200.00 As with this one it was made of small pieces of various woods meticulously put together to form the calendar. My son had coveted the original so I finally gave it to him about 8 years ago and have looked for a replacement since then.

When this one arrived it was more beautiful than the original. The original was all natural wood but the color on this one brings it to life. I will be sure to tell my other sons where I got this one so they can order there own.

"The piece is very colorful, more blue than the picture indidcates, which is what I wanted. The frustration came in that there was no hardware to hand the item so I had to construct my own method."

"This Aztec calendar was everything I hoped for. It was a great price and wonderful colors. It was made very well and is truly an eyecatcher and conversation piece. The only disappointment, which I can live with, is that the wooden frame which I thought was dark wood color is really a highly varnished blue color. This is a great piece."

"I just received this today and I am not disappointed with my purchase. It looks like it must have taken a long time because it is made of individual pieces. There are little imperfections but I think that they only add to the authenticity. The colors are vivid but not overbearing. I think that we will buy several more as gifts for family and friends."

"I love my new Aztec calendar. It is such a beautiful addition to my new foyer. Interesting to look at and well worth the money for a conversation piece. My only tiny criticism is that there was no way to hang it so I had to put in my own eye screws and wire. Just a little nervous about possibly splitting the wood, but it went well and looks lovely."

"The first one I had recieved had many broken pieces in it and lots of glue on the back. I returned and had a new one shipped out. I was pleased that it made it all in one piece. However, I must say I am still having an issue with all of the glue that didn't get wiped up when it was made. I was able to scrape some off without damaging it for the most part. It looks better from a far then focusing on the details up close. I think both were just a little off centered as well. Overall, I would say good deal, but not perfectly crafted by any means."

"The only reason that I give a four star is that at one corner of the piece, the painted surface was a bit damaged. But it was negligible and so I decided not to return it. Otherwise, I think this is a very beautiful decorative piece, very detailed, the colors are vibrant. I would recommend it to anyone."
