"I agree with the reviews I have read - these are fast stable skis. They love to pick up speed in the run-outs, so don't expect that you're cruising into the chair - they will make you ski out every time. I found (sometimes) that blue run-outs seemed tougher than the middle of double blacks. I am especially impressed with how they take moguls, and I have 180's. One problem - the NEOX 412 plastic is subject to breaking. I broke a front mount (owing to extremely cold conditions when i got a binding doused by snowmaking water) but even so - the plastic cracked. Later that year, another plastic part broke off, and I have seen broken brakes on 412s mounted on Metrons. Atomic will replace, but you will have to dance a bit shipping them out for analysis before they commit to it. Best recommendation - if they get wet in cold conditions, wipe them down."

"Some experts may argue that they are too forgiving for ski racing and too stiff to handle off piste. They are right. They are the perfect skis for an advanced skier who is aspiring to be an expert (or not). They skis can do it all. Although, I have to say they are more made to go fast on hard packed groomers than to play in the cruds. Tremendous edge holding even for the icy conditions in the East. Some words of warning though... These skis are very heavy and it's very beefy underfoot. They are a bear to hold in your hands if you have anything less than large palms. These skis are not for the novice unless you're a natural. Don't expect to have good control in the backseat. They demand constant pressure in the front of the boots. Although they are extremely stable at any speed (partly due to the weight), do expect to have some hard crashes if you don't take command of your skis, particularly at high speed on an uneven firm base."

"These skis are amazing. Even thought thy are an older model they are still very, very fast and have great control. I can easily beat everyone down the trail or leave them in the dust on the way down the moguls. Great Skis!"

"I'm very happy with my first experience on Overstock.com. I shopped for several months before I finally ordered my Atomic SX10 skis. I had a good idea of what I wanted and Overstock did a good job of describing the skiis. They also had the best price!
I also was impressed with the personal customer support. I had never been on a site where I could have a real-time dialogue with a salesperson on-line. It probably convinced me to buy the product through their site.
I haven't skied on my new Atomics yet, but I'm looking forward to it and will recommend Overstock to my ski buddies."

"I bought these skis for my son several months ago and in a different color scheme. He's become a much better skier and needed something that could handle the whole mountain. He's been very pleased with these skis. His only comment was they are quite a bit heavier then his old ones. That being said, he finds them faster, better on ice, and they don't chatter. He's extremely please with them and I couldn't beat the bargain they presented."
