"I like the look and durability. But it makes a mess when emptying the canister and filter. And it is not as powerful as my bag vaccum. The hose barely has any suction at all.Plus it is loud."

"Upon purchase of this vacuum cleaner, it performed superbly. Carpets were cleaner than they had been in months and it was very easy to empty the dirt canister. If you would have asked me about my satisfaction when I bought this vacuum a year ago, I would have rated it 5 stars. It looks good, it worked great and the extra tools such as the power paw and the duster were pretty cool too. However, in the year since buying this vacuum, my 5 star rating has soured to a measly one star rating. If it were possible, I'd rate this a zero star product. This vacuum clogs almost instantly after turning it on, the filter must be cleaned after every use if you expect it to pick up any dirt at all, and the area between the beater brush and the dirt canister plugs constantly - thus requiring that you take the vacuum apart and manually unplug the dirt with your fingers. It is perhaps the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever purchased, and I will hesitate before ever buying a Eureka again."

"When I initially started using this product it worked well. It picked up lots of dirt and made my carpets look great. After about 6 weeks it appeared that the belt moved away from it path. This resulted in the friction from the belt melting the plastic spinning nut that held in the rotating brush. The entire section that held in the brush melted and rendered the unit unrepairable. If this part was metal and not plastic, it would not have been a problem. In my opinion this was an engineering flaw that should have been caught during test and evaluation prior to marketing. Shame on you Eureka. You have lost yet another customer!"

"We haven't even had this vacuum 3 weeks and it died. We then called the warranty department and they did "fix it" at our expense. Now not even a year after we bought it were in market for a new vacuume. I would not use or recommend this brand."

"This vacuum was a disappointment. On thick carpet it tends to be ok but on low pile it shoots the small stuff out the back and has a difficult time sucking it up. Do not use it on a bare floor or your legs will get pelted with whatever is on your floor. The vacuum is also VERY loud and sometimes has a terrible burning smell. The accessory hose pulls back toward the vacuum, basically making it harder to use than is worth it. The vacuum does have a nice appearance and the dirt cup is easy to empty. Overall: Keep Shopping."
