"This television is great for gaming and also for those HD broadcast. I was watching college football in HD and I felt like i wa saat the South Caroina whooping of Southern Mississippi. This television is also great for gaming. I am an avid gamer and it does not have image blur at the top and sides that some other televisions have when playing a fast action game. The time it took to get to Dallas was also not to bad. It was only about 13 days from ordering to recieving it on my doorstep. Not much else i can say it was a good buy."

"The other two gentleman hit the nail on the head with their comments.
This tv is everything I wanted. The pictures online don't do it any justice either, you must wait until it is sitting in your living room to get the full effect. Awesome picture, sound and options/menu. Plenty of jacks for any component you may want to add, as well as just a great looking tv.
The service was excellent. I recieved the tv in 7 days without one scratch on it. You get everything you pay for and more in my opinion. Keep up the good work overstock! I will definitely do business here again."

"I ordered the beautiful Samsung HL-R5078W on Monday 6/26/2006. On Wednesday, the 28th, I was told it would be delivered in three to six weeks, so I marked my calendar and got ready for a long wait.
To my astonishment, I got a call from the freight company on Wednesday the 28th asking me if they could deliver my TV the next morning.
To make a short story shorter, the TV was delivered, I carried it in, and I was watching the Brewers playing the Cubs within SEVENTY TWO HOURS after I ordered it.

"Anyone reading this will probably be very unhappy, since it seems this model has been discontinued and is no longer in stock. If you get a chance, buy one! The picture is unbelievable - clear, sharp, high contrast, vibrant colors. Compared side by side in a show room, the picture was substantially better than other HDTVs (including other 1080 capable systems). This is by far the best picture value you could get !
I was disappointed in some features - changing to alternate sources (DVD, satellite, etc) requires a separate source button on the remote that universal remotes don't support. The included remote would not control any of my other devices (including a Samsung combo DVD/VCR), so I must use two remotes. The PIP is very crippled, since you cannot put DTV into the PIP. There is no capability to display closed captioning when muted.
The TV arrived in great condition 9 days after I ordered it. The trucking company did not deliver in the scheduled window - but made a special trip 4 hours later."

"The Tv is everything I could have have wanted, the picture is excellent. The sound is sharp and clear, i hooked up just the sub woofer aloneand it is unbelivable. I think for the price this is one of the best deals anywhere. I ordered the set, it took about 10 days to arrive, i got the HD sat .hooked up then the sub woofer and it just continues to get better,home teather is next.I would not be afarid to recemend this set to my mother or any other family member, and Overstock.com always comes through.RogerRoger"
