"These speakers sound great. They only problem I have with them is that the volume dial is really really stiff. I litereally have to hold the top of the speaker with one hand while I turn the dial with the other. The dial being a smooth metal doesn't help either. Other than that, these are great speakers. The sound is crisp."

"I needed the JBL Duetal powered speakers to work with my LCD TV Box (converts a cast-off LCD display to a TV system) because it was not able to drive the 18 inch LCD Monitor built-in speakers (not powered). The JBL speakers are an excellent inexpensive stereo set and yes, the on/off volume control knob is weak. But fidelity, frequency range and volume for a computer room TV is more than adequate."

"Speakers have good sound for music and general use, good value. Are perfect for desktop use, take up minimal space. Brushed aluminum color compliments most monitors. They arrived in less time than originally promissed, in original packaging - not refurbished."
