"I bought one of these beds for my 19 pound Boston Terrier who likes to burrow under the covers. However, when it came, my other Boston Terrier claimed it, and I had to buy another one.
I haven't washed it yet (it's due for a washing soon), but I expect it to be very durable. The dogs like laying inside the bed, and also on top. Its not too big, but not too small for them - I like that I can move it to whichever room I'm in. It will also be going to the pet sitter's house this weekend, since it is just the right size and washable."

"Color of photo not accurate. The green/khaki olor option is not represented. It is a very dark coloring. It still works for my decor so I am not disappointed. Nest appear to be good quality. I expect it to be used a great deal. Medium sizes easily accomodates my SHih Tzu 17lbs or the cat 16lbs. Plenty of room for them to get in and stretch out."

"I bought this bed for my dachshund who thinks he owns every bed in the house! He likes to burrough under the covers, like a typical dachshund, so I thought this bed might be a good alternative while we try to retrain him. He is lying on it right now, although he has not completely figured out how to get into it. I leave it partially open, and then when he gets in I try to cover him up so he gets the concept. This is a soft bed, even without the snuggle feature, and is good quality. By the way, my dachshund is 20 lbs and very LONG, and the medium size seems just right."

"Oh my goodness- my Boston LOVES this bed. When we took it out of the box she was so excited and wanted to lay on it immediately!! She's about 27 lbs and fits perfectly inside and on top. She doesn't quite know how to get inside yet so we have to help her, but she'll get it eventually I hope! It's really nice and the suede/microfiber is pretty warm so for the most part she lays on top, but when it starts getting colder I think she'll love it even more!!"

"My 14 lb. Dachshund loves to crawl under the blanket and whines if she is not covered. This bed is perfect for her. I ordered the larger size because there are times she likes to stretch out, but she would have fit in the smaller one. I have been looking for a bed like this, but the ones I have seen were priced at around $80. This pet bed is a great value, very soft, and durable. "These beds are great: soft, cushy, a cozy snuggle place. Mine was for a 14 lb. italian greyhound and I'm so glad I got the medium. The small must be for toys and tiny dogs. "I have two minature dachshunds, Kodiac and Polar, and they absolutely LOVE this pet bed. Although they would rather burrow underneath Mommy and Daddy's sheets in our bed, they are VERY content when we tell them to go to their "pita pocket". It is so soft and very warm to our little ones. It is so cute to see them get in themselves. Sometimes I have to help their back side in because they will have their head and upper body in, but you will walk by and their little booty is hanging out. It is so cute. Kodiac named after the "Kodiac Bear" is 17 pounds and Polar named after the "Polar Bear" is 12 pounds. They both can fit together just right in the bed and have enough room to stretch out although they love to snuggle with one another in it. This notion makes the name of the pet bed all too perfect. It has been washed a few times since its purchase and has held up very well. We are so sorry that we did not purchase more before Overstock.com sold out of them. BRING THEM BACK SOON, OVERSTOCK!"

"When I received this item I was very pleased, the fabric is a soft microfiber, more heavily padded on the bottom with a lighter padding on the top, and seems very well sewn. Tore and Casanova, my maltese puppies (14 months old) love it and give it a "5 paws". I haven't washed it yet, so really can't say how well it washes."

"My two dogs absolutely love this bed - they'll plop and throw themselves on it whenever it comes out of the dryer, or I place it on the ground. It was durable enough to withstand the puppy weeks - digging, burrowing, biting. Much better value than all the traditional pet beds I've ordered (and returned due to dissatisfaction) from the usual pet sites. Machine washable, which is a plus; however, it's large enough that it'll be unbalanced in the washer, and you'll have to invert mid-dry. Just wish I had the option of different sizes (small). This is sufficient for a dog 30-60 lbs, or two toy breed dogs in my case. Negative - the fabric will pill after several washes; especially if you throw in other items with it."

"I ordered this bed for our 13 lb cat who loves to be spank petted and while we play, he looks for places to burrow (nis name is Moxley but we call him Mole for that reason). The bed arrived quickly, is of amazing quality and made of the softest ultrasuade fabric for both sides. It turned out much bigger than I expected. Delish. After eyeballing it nervously fora a day or two, we finally confinced Mo to check it out with a little cat nip drizzled inside. In two cauteous steps, he shwooped in and curled up for an immediate nap and I even got a quick 'thank you' lick. He looks like he was swallowed by a giant deep sage green clam. The Medium size gives him a ton of room - could even fit another cat in there if he would allow us to adopt another. Quality stitching, so I espect it to launder well, especially if on a gentle cycle and in Woolite. It'll be a great take away whe he's boarded or 'visiting' a cat sitter. It really does feel like the cat pockets he makes under the covers. We have a winner! The price is a joke. BTW - the bed arrived quickly and the bottom of the cardboard box does say Orvis although there are no other markings. Get it for your little (or medium) creature before they run out! Just ordered another one as a gift for my parents' himalayan."
