"I bought this book for my good friend's 3 yr old daughter, and after i finished reading through it, it inspired me to write her a message on the inside flap of the book. The theme of the book is wonderful and really helps the child to understand that no matter what, in the end, it is always best to be yourself. Buy it, read it, you will get all gooy inside and will want to share it with that special kid in your life too. Kudos to the author, very good language, beautiful art and color. Overall, a winner."

"My friend's 3 year old daughter loved this book. She followed the reading very well and the rhyming of the words made the book all the more interesting. I depicts nicely the routine of going to bed for a young child. The workmanship of the book is good b/c it will hold up to rough handling. Nice story, nice pictures."

"This is a nice gift for the price, even though i liked it, i felt a bit impersonal giving it to my friends as a gift. It is pleasing looking, nice colors, good wood, interesting texture of the rocks. If the person is really into candles, give it a try. You really can't go wrong with the price."

"I normally wear perfumes like Omnia and Stella, and i was looking for a perfume that had notes of sandalwood and musk in it. The description stated that it did, so I gifted it to my mother-in-law, and she liked it very much. I smelled it too and was happy to see that the description fit the scent nicely. This is a good value b/c you get a lot of perfume for the price and the pachaging is solid and neat. Try it, you'll like it. Good for everyday wear, light yet deep smelling. Nice."

"This digi-picture frame caught my attention b/c it was advertised as having a retail value of $499.99 but was selling for around $113. I thought, wow, what a deal. When i loaded some photos in it b/f giving it as a gift to my family, i noticed the picture quality was not as good as some of the other frames i had. I didn't expect this from such a high original price of the frame. It did have other perks like a slim remote control and it can play video and music too, but the whole point of this is image quality. It was not horrible, but should be crisper and less grainy for the original price value. Doesn't make a bad gift."

"Very nice, stylish watch, not gaudy at all. Has the modernity for the younger guys, but also the charm and shophistication for an older man as well. I bought it for my 30 year old brother-in-law and he truly loved it. He is not a flashy guy, so this simple, elegant and manly watch went well with his style and personality. It was a good price too for a Lucien Piccard."

"I bought this cologne as a Christmas present for my 54 year old father. It smelled great, very fresh, clean, spring-like, almost like fresh cut grass. However, i received the box without any shrink wrap on it and the cologne seemed to have been used up a bit. No problem though, i called up overstock, stated my problem, and got a replacement very quickly. The overstock customer service rep said, unfortunately she couldn't guaurantee delivery b/f Christmas, i was dissapointed to hear this, since i was buying it as a Christmas gift, but guess what, it came straight to my door on Dec24th, and happily i was able to present it to him on Christmas Day, just like Santa had intended. Thanks Overstock. You are truly looking out for your customer's best interest. Bravo!"

After wedding via an arranged marriage, Ashima (Tabu) moves with Ashoke (Irrfan Khan) from her native Calcutta to New York. As Ashima struggles to adjust to life in her new home, a true love grows between the newlyweds. When they give birth to Gogol (who does not learn the true origin of his name until adulthood), the Gangolis decide to stay in American for their child?s sake, settling in the suburbs and eventually giving birth to a daughter, Sonia (Sahira Nair). While Ashima and Ashoke attempt to balance their new life with Indian traditions, their children have the very different experience of being raised first-generation Americans. With little interest in their ancestry, both Gogol and Sonia disappoint their parents by having little respect for the sacrifices their parents made for them. Gogol?s desire to change his name, and his relationship with a wealthy American girl (Jacinda Barrett), places a strain on the family which Gogol will later regret.

Here, Penn proves he can play a serious role while still using his comedic skills to great affect. The actor shows impressive range in growing a clueless teen to a man his father would be proud of. Nair?s skill at directing can be felt in the film?s many great performances. Both Tabu and Irrfan Khan embody their characters so fully that the viewer really feels a personal connection to the story. As the head of the household, Khan`s character will subtly make viewers laugh while breaking their heart. "This movie is great, very touching story. I thought it stayed true to Jumpa Lahiri's book and was directed beautifully by Mira Nair. All the actors in the film delivered a beautiful performance and the cinematography of the film gives all viewers a small glimpse into the marvel and mystery that India and its people hold... read it, watch it, buy it, own it... you won't be sorry. Pick up The Namesake,some popcorn, a nice cozy blanket and some hot cocoa and enjoy, smile, laugh!"

"This blanket has a very calming quality to it. However, it does not feel as cozy as i thought, only b/c it feels slippery while it is on your lap, more like a satin feeling rather than a cozy gripping blanket, but it is very warm. Overall, not bad though."

"I am a 30 year old female who bought this perfume because I wanted to see what a perfume that was developed in the 1930s smelled like. No wonder we went through the Great Depression. The smell of this perfume was horrible, it gave me a headache and was way too expensive for the quality. It doesn't even have any staying power, (which in this case is a good idea.) This perfume is not nice smelling at all."
