"We have only used our Garmin Nuvi 350 once so far and really was impressed with the accuracy, quality etc. The only thing so far we have found is that it may be nice to have some type of stylus included, especially if you have "large" fingers. It is a little difficult for my husband to use the touch screen. The display is very clear, the voice very clear and so far has not taken us too far out of our way in finding locations. It even routed us around bad roads at one point which really impressed us!"

"SO simple to set up and use!!!
I'm electronically behind-the-times, since my late husband used to do absolutely everything, and I lost my cutting-edge savvy. I inherited his old Garmin and found it totally frustrating. Finally treated myself to THIS puppy, and OH am I glad I did. A breeze to set up and use. Thank goodness it recalulates (the old one didnt and it drove me nuts). The maps and restaurants are sadly out of date, at least here in Maine, and others have noted the same thing. It has funky intersection directions for highway work that was completed more than ten years ago. Any my house address is off by a third of a mile, and so was an address that I drove to last week. Hm. BUT -- it gets you "in the ballpark" of your destination, and it does it smoothly and with ease. LOVE it!"

"I think Garmin did a good job designing the Nuvi 350. It does everything I ask of it, right out of the box. For example, I unpacked the unit, plugged it into an A/C auto adaptor, and the Nuvi 350 went to work. It acquired the satellite signal automatically and the maps were preloaded. With a visit to Garmin.com, I downloaded a custom vehicle icon which I used with the Nuvi 350.
Points of departure are known right away, and inputting destination information is easy. The route-to-destination is calculated automatically, and the arrival time is estimated all on-screen. All of the information needed to operate the Nuvi 350 is contained in either in the box or available at Garmin.com.
The GTM-10 or -12 traffic receiver is available as an option for routing vehicle around traffic and construction. Optional SD cards are available representing different locations in the world. Many other accessories are available for the Nuvi 350.
The Garmin Nuvi 350 is an affordably-priced unit, less expensive than the top-of-the-line products. It offers a wide selection of features for the price and it is customizable for your navigating needs. There are also units for navigating the air, and, for navigating on water.
I found the maps on the Garmin Nuvi 350 to be legible and accurate. Updates are available via the web and a USB cable is provided for connecting the unit to a computer for updating.
The Garmin Nuvi 350 has helped me tremendously. It can help you navigate. Please consider purchasing a Garmin Nuvi 350 or other Garmin product for your convenience or if you just like to know where you are.
Always use caution when operating a vehicle and remember that the responsibility for operating a vehicle always rests with you.
All in all, the Garmin Nuvi 350 represents a mid-line good value in navigating equipment and you're ready-to-roll, right out of the box. Just plug in the Garmin Nuvi 350, and ready, set, go!

"It works great, but the default avoid feature won't allow you to go on the interstate. I haven't found a way to delete addresses once they've been entered, so they are always there under favorite or recent entries.
Could be operator error, but there is not a whole lot of instructions given.
The daylight/nightime feature is nice.
The restaurants and gas stations are good, but some of the restaurants are no longer there when you show up."

"This is an excellent GPS system. This system is extremely easy to use and there is essentially very little set up. Tested this GPS on a trip that we have done many times and purposely turned down wrong streets to see how it would respond. It was great!!! It kept recalculating an alternate route. The screen is easy to read. I absolutely love my new "toy"!!!!!"

"I would highly recommend this GPS Garmin unit to anyone who can read and hear. It is that simple to understand. It comes with everything including an AC DC cord you can hook up to the wall not just your computer for recharging. This unit took me 78 miles to the DOOR of a restaurant in a town which all around me was corn growing! This is an incredibly precise piece of the most simple kind of equipment at a great price! I would recommend it to anyone----who can read and hear."

"Based on reviews and price, is the reason I chose to purchase my Garmin. GPS's will soon probably be standard in all vehichles. It is certainly one of the most useful tools to have when traveling. Learning to use the device took some time but eventually I got the hang of it. It would be nice to have more ways to personalize the features though; different icons, voices etc. My gps has already been used quite a bit in the short time we've owned it. Some family members are directionally challenged and very much appreciate the convenience of having this device to use."

"I drive 5-6 days a week for a limo company in the New York City area, so my Garmin 350 unit is in use for 8-12 hours a day.
I had to have a unit that would get a bride to the church on time, a VIP to an event in NJ, or a near by gas station.
I depend on the 350 to make a living, so the Garmin has to be on point, I never leave the driveway without it."

"Superb design and function really tops. Very user friendly, but a couple little things can hang you up until you learn it (like forgetting to put the antenna up - you can be on a simulated trip to who knows where). We have one annoyong issue that sometimes it takes too long to acquire satellites. Seems OK now but I see others have posted about that one."
