"I have used GPS technology for many, many years when hunting, fishing, orienteering, and traveling by car, boat, and/or motor home. Garmin has always provided the best GPS instruments in the industry, and it was hard for me to imagine how the StreetPilot could be improved. Well, it has been improved; and the model 2820 is proof. The unit's operation is very intuitive and you "just know" how to use it! The menu is simple to navigate, functions are grouped together in a way that works for the user, and the unit keeps you in the know with timely voice prompts that keep you on the right route as you travel to your destination. Special features including updated weather forecasts, construction or traffic delays, the ability to upload the location of traffic calming devices/cameras, Blue Tooth, and mobile books are just what the traveler needs. I do recommend this unit to all my friends, and you should give it serious consideration...you can't go wrong...or get lost with the Garmin 2820."

"My husband was very happy to receive the StreetPilot 2820 for Christmas. He wanted this model so that we can easily take it in any car but, more importantly, on our motorcycle. The 2820 is designed for rugged use and it's waterproof. We're looking forward to many scenic trips with the Garmin guiding us down the backroads to our destinations.
I'm once again pleased with Overstock's service and price. I received the item within a couple days of ordering and my husband had a blast trying it out on our Christmas travels. The route was very familiar but it was fun to get some practice with the StreetPilot and see how much helpful information it provided along the way. We'll never again wonder 'how much longer until we get there?'."

"This was a Christmas present for my husband and he was very specific about the features he wanted in a GPS. This has it all! He will mainly use this on his motorcycle so he is thrilled with the fact that it was built for a motorycle. I like the fact that it will go easily from the motorcycle to my vehicle when needed.
Pretty easy to figure out just by using it, but the manual isn't as clear on its instructions if you choose to read it."

"Overall great unit. I found that although the unit is advertised as a motorcycle unit, it dos not come with a harness to connect it to a motorcycle, only with a cigarrete lighter connector."

"My first GPS, overall excellent navigation. When looking up Casinos found out that native American Casinos are not included. Should give them their own category since they represent majority of gambling interest in most states. I'm balking on adding sattelite radio, traffic and weather because the anttenna costs over 225.00. Seems outrageous considering what you can buy a stand alone sattellite radio for."
