"This bike rack has everything you need. It swings out of the way, good quality construction, versility due to the fact that you can also use as a tow bar so you loose nothing while it is installed. I had looked at all kinds of bike racks and for the money this is the best. It was made by the company that makes the best bike racks even though it has no brand name. Buy it you'll love it."

"We bought this in order to tow a utility trailer as well as haul bikes. It's very sturdy, has enough clearance to slide fairly easily into my 2" receiver hitch (a problem I've had in the past). I wouldn't want to hang a huge load off this thing, but for camping gear it will do the job nicely. I like the split retaining plate on the top. It has two holes for padlocks so you can really secure a bike if needed, plus you only need to remove two of the threaded knobs in order to remove the plate. I've had other hitch bike racks where you needed to remove four. It also tilts down by removing just one pin, which is something my other rack did not. Just a general warning that the assembly directions have some of the hardware incorrectly located. You'll have to feel your way through assembly a bit, but there's only a few options for various pieces so most will be able to figure it out. As far as I could tell it also did not include the pin needed to secure the hitch to the receiver, but you can pick one of those up at an auto parts store, or pull one off any other receiver hitch."

"We used this for a camping trip towing a 4 x 8 U-Haul trailer. Worked very well, with one notable exception. If you look at the picture, it shows a trailer hitch ball. But this is not included. The copy doesn't say it's included or it's not included; it simply states that it has a 3/4" shank hole. Ordinarily, this would not be a big deal. You buy a hitch ball, and you install it in the 3/4" shank hole. The problem is, there is no room at all in the hitch part to get a wrench around the nut holding the hitch ball in place. I spent the better part of a day trying to find tools that would work. I finally settled on a plumber's wrench that I used to turn the ball, while keeping a flathead screwdriver jammed between the nut and the hitch to keep the nut from turning. It worked, more or less; the ball loosened on the way down, but after I re-tightened it (breaking the plumber's wrench in the process) it stayed in place on the way back. So be forewarned. As good a product as it is, if you expect to tow anything with it, be prepared to spend a good bit of extra time getting it in working order."

"This is a great way to take bikes camping with a trailer using an suv where before we could not take them. It is easy to use and works great. Evem without a trailer it is a great bike rack, the swing down feature is awesome. I did need to purchase bar extensions to attach bikes to rack, but well worth it."
