"I use a shredding machine alot to shred junk mail and old important papers. I have bought 2 in the past from Office Supply stores, and they both broke. When I received this one, I had alot of paper to shred, and it worked very nicely. There hasn' t been any problems with this machine, and I love it.

"My old shredder finally died, and I needed a replacement. I saw this one and thought I'd take a chance. It works really well, and I like the handiness of having a pull-out drawer for the shredded paper. It's easy to take out and empty without any mess. I've been pleased with this product."

"OK---This isn't going to help dispose of your 64 Buick and it can be induced to choking quickly compared to the commercial grade shredder I had before BUT 1) for the price you're getting a great deal 2) IT doesn't claim to be anything other than a household shredder 3) it has a relatively modest foot print and 4) it does a great job reducing waste to a much smaller volume than by previous ribbon shredder which filled up much too quickly.All and all a very good deal. PS---Unsure on durability of course since it's new but it doesn't look like it's poorly made."

"Finally a shredder that doesn't quit when you put more than two pages in it. Also easy to dump with the pull out bin. Great buy. Have had it for a while and done a lot of work with it. It hasn't even slowed down once."

"So far, I have been very happy with this shredder. I think it is worth a couple of extra bucks to buy a higher quality shredder than the $19.99 shredders sold everywhere. We use our shredder at home and it seems to meet our expectations so far, although I haven't tried any credit cards yet. I would prefer a smaller confetti cut, but this is still better than doing it by hand. My only complaint is that the shredder is loud. Otherwise, we love it."

"This shredder works great! After spending a few days shopping around I found many shredders that at a glance appear compact, durable, and easy to use. After playing with them in the store a bit more I found them to be shoddy, flimsy, and not worth the expensive price. This shredder has definitely met my expectations. When I got it I shredded old documents for 3 hours straight with no problems. It shredded credit cards, 5-10 sheets of paper, and poster board with ease. The only down size is its height so I couldn't fit it on a shelf in my office but it's only the size of a small office trash can."

"The machine is good quality and a little slower than the old one I had, but I was disappointed with the size of the shreds. The name implies that the shreds were like confetti and I totally disagree. The old shredder I had produced the same size shreds, although a bit louder. The main reason I bought the shredder was in the title itself - "confetti" and it wasn't."

"I was very disappointed in how loud the shredder was. After only 3 mniutes of shredding my neighbor came to my apartment and said it sounded like an airplane taking off. Also, it is not "real" confetti cut more like short strips."

"Nice shredder. Maybe not as quiet as I hoped it would be. Does a great job shredding. Nice size and being on rollers makes it easy to move around. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to line the bin with a plastic bag...but I can. That makes it much easier to empty."

"This shredder is our third, and while we are not an office, we feel our paranoia keeps our shredder busy. This Royal 10x is not fast but the motor appears to be heavy enough to last longer than that of similar products. The only disappointment was the mailing of the product's box without any additional packing; the clear plastic viewing window was busted out when we opened the box upon on its arrival."
