"It's a very easy setup and cleaning with removable collection sheets. It does a great job (just look at the sheet after the first change and you'll be impressed. It makes NO NOISE what so ever. Great around pet boxes, garbages, and smaller rooms like bedrooms and offices. Definatly worth the price."

"I have used the Hoover SilentAir 2000 Air Purifier in my living room for a few weeks now, but I have no idea if it's helping or not. After I got it, the enclosed information recommends setting it near the "air return vent." Well, my return vent is up in my hallway ceiling in my apartment. Therefore, there's no air circulating around my purifier, so I cannot judge if that's affecting its efficiency. It comes with a lot of collection sheets. It's supposed to use about one sheet per month. A light will come on when the sheet's ready to be changed. I'll gauge when I change the first sheet how much it's removing from the air. It's light-weight and really easy to move around, and pretty much maintenance free. I think it would be fine for a bedroom/child's room and for someone who doesn't like the sound of a fan."

"So far so good. This thing doesn't even sound like it's on! We put it in our master bedroom and seriously don't even realize it's on. Our little one's nose seems to be doing better lately so hopefully that's a sign of it working. I've only had it about a month; I haven't had any problems with it so far."

"We had a problem room. The air was so bad you couldn't walk past it without getting that awful smell, even outside in the hallway. Now that doesn't happen. The air quality is at least 80% better. It really is a silent purifier."

"Bought this unit for my son's bedroom as he is the one with allergies. Very quiet and you can feel the great fresh smell as if the wndows are open but they are not. My son has a an a/c unit in his window which prevents us from opening his window. This system helps greatly with air quality in his room. Definitely recommend."

"The shape of the product makes it difficult to hide it. The tall cylinder shaped air cleaners are easier to hide behind or inbetween furniture and not be visible. The only time I can smell clean air is when I am within three feet of the device. I have not had it long enough to get the filter changed. It's an OK product and I knew it was not in the higher range of quality air cleaners when I bought it."

"I am happy with my purchase of this air purifier. My two year old attacked it as soon as it came out of the box but we got it put back together and it's working great. Noticeable difference in air quality. We had to move it a few times to figure out where it would fit and work best. We will probably purchase another for the upstairs bedroom."

"3 days after we put the Hoover Silent Air Purifier in our great grand son's room he stopped having runny nose, sinus problems and sleeps alot better. He is ll mos. old and had a runny nose since birth. Since we are caring for our two great grandsons while their parents are in Iraq I truly believe the Lord gave us the instruction to get a purifier and stop with the allergy medications. It's been many moons since we raised our kids so we do need help from above now and then. JHO"

What a difference!,

"I actually work in the environmental/indoor air quality consulting business and spend much time reviewing the claims made by various manufacturers of air purifiers/cleaners. I have been very, very happy with the results of this product.
My husband and I live in the middle of the city, with lots of ambient pollution and pesky pollen making its way into our home. We are also both smokers and have a cat. Basically, the indoor air quality has been awful in our home - yes, even though I make my living improving the same elsewhere!
Within 48 hours, we could notice a marked difference in the air quality. Not only did our home smell fresh, but also lowered levels of dust, dander and whatever else was significant.
The Hoover product is very efficient and the "silent" nature of the machine is a very valid claim. The cost is also very reasonable for an air purifier. Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend this purchase to friends and family. (I already have!)"

"When I got this unit and plugged it in, I actually thought it was broken. It is very silent, no buzzing or humming. A few days later I sneaked a peek at the collection sheet to see if it was working and sure enough it works like a charm. I live in a small apartment and have a cat. I think I have been breathing easier since receiving this!"

"The air filtration system is giving me the much needed relief from TN pollen that I was looking for. I absolutely couldn't breathe, the medications we're helping! Now I wake up feeling clear and the annoying allergy symptoms are gone. I feel like I am sleeping in a clean room environment. Highly recommend this product for asthmatics and allergy sufferers.
