"I used the camera for the first time yesterday (12/29/09) and just viewed the film on my computer and the tv. The quality is terrible, my camera takes better quality videos. I will upgrade to an HD camcorder once I get the money back from this."

"my old sony died and i found it too expensive to repair at this time. I shopped everywhere in stores and on line but I didn't want to put out a lot of $$ right now. I kept looking at overstock.com and saw the low price and the brand jvc and i crossed my fingers and ordered it. Never having bought a refurbished item i was nervous. I am pleased to say that its like brand new. It came in a plain brown box with all the accessories and instructions. It is so small and easy to use. it has more features than the old one. You can take it anywhere and has lots of memory. I haven't downloaded anything yet but can't wait to send something to my family back east. I will definitley buy from overstock again! I saved tons of $$"

"I read some negative reviews on this product and maybe if I was paying full price I would not be as happy but I really like this unit. Easy to use and download. Still image quality is pretty good. The video quality is not excellent but is still pretty decent. I have only used outside in light so far so not sure about low light performance. Overall pretty happy."

"I purchased this as a birthday gift for my husband. I spent a lot of time searching and decided that this camera was the right one for him. I was a little leary because I really wanted a camcorder that we could tape directly to DVD but didn't want to spend too much money. To make a story short I decided to go with this one and he absolutely loves it!!!The camcorder/camera is very easy to use. The hubby wanted to know all about everything so he decided to read the manual but we were already using it prior to reading the full instructions. While it is refurbished it has been a great little machine and we haven had no problems.......and for the difference in price I was more than happy to give a refurbished unit a try rather than pay full price for one that he wouldn't have liked as well. Oh, and this camera has a 20GB hard drive.....20GB!!!!! The video and still shot pics come out beautifully!!So if you are in the market for a new camcorder keep this one in mind. It is sure not to disappoint!"

"We used it on our honeymoon and there was alot of wind and rain but the camera picked up on us instead of the wind. When the weather was good again we were very pleased with the quality of picture and the capability of the zoom feature. There are many features to this product that we are looking forward to using!"
