"According to the description, this monitor does quite a bit....ex...calories, distance, percentage...ect. It does none of those things. This monitor ONLY shows your heart rate and length of workout. You can set it to beep if it goes below or above your chosen heart rates. It also functions as a watch. If that is ALL you want, then it is perfect. It does do an excellent job of that and the numbers are large and easy to read. I also agree the strap is comfortable. But if you want to know what percentage your heart rate is or your calories burned during your workout, this is not the monitor for you."

"This item is perfect for the price for what I need for running. You can buy pricier equipment that does more but this is enough for me. It displays my heartrate, length of exercise and time of day. You are also able to set your maximum and minimum heart rate during exercise and it beeps when you get out of the range. I love it. The chest strap is comfortable. I forget that I have it on. This is a simple tool that is easy to use."
