"First, this is not going to be the most useful light you can buy. The main light works good. The LEDs are for show or giving to kids as a toy. They run randomly in various sequences like some light show with a rock band. The grandkids love them, and maybe your kids or grands will also. But this is not a serious work or hunting light. I would not buy them again knowing how they actually work. Might be good for Halloween or a party gag, but you won't get any work done with the leds."

"These were a gift for the kids and they had a great time playing in the dark basement with the lights off. The headlamps even have a colorful strobe-like setting which enhanced the party-like atmosphere. They are not broken yet! They are a bit bulky so I don't think I'd want to use them if I was serious about doing work/fun in a dark area, but they are perfect for the kids."
