"I bought this sewing machine as a gift for my grandson and grandaughter. I love it. It's the cats meow. Even my grandaughter from out of state age 17 even wanted one. I have 2 full size machines and will get one of these for myself.
Very much worth the money and so many supplies come with it. I could not have wanted anything better for them to learn on.

"I purchased this little sewing machine as a gift for my 8 yr old daughter. I think it will be perfect for her. Since the gift is for Christmas I haven't given it to her yet. I did unwrap and test the machine though. I was surprised at all the accessories included. This makes a perfect gift since it really is ready to use right out of the box. I picked up some inexpensive fabric remnants to go along with it. She will most likely do pillows, purses and other simple crafts. This is perfectly suited for those type of tasks. I can't see using it for anything with zippers, botten holes or on thick fabric. Its light weight and easy to use. Ours is a light blue, not the pink color mentioned by another reviewer or the white in the picture. I will be borrowing it for a quick seam repair! The Durability rating I gave using my best guess -the plastic is light and I think if it used for simple projects it will hold up just fine for the time being -at least long enough for her to grow tired of it or desire a new machne capable of doing more."

"Not a bad machine for the value. For the purpose of doing minor repairs and simple projects it is worth the money. The machine seems a little flimsy, but I am not an exceptional seamstess, so it works well for me. I would recommend it if you don't have a heavy sewing workload and just need something for occasional work."

"Product arrived within the time frame given- good as new. Sewing machine was refurbished but came with various yarn, thimble, scissor and needles- like a new machine would. Plus, there is a 90 day warranty. A great starter machine for those just learning how to sew. I am pleased with the product considering the price I paid. Would greatly recommend it."

"it is cute, it works fairly well on light weight material . seems it would be easier if you are familiar with a sewing machine. it is fine for piecing together light weight quilt squares. I have a few problems with the thread breaking but manage it ."

"Thanks to the product reviews by others, I fully knew what to expect when I received the sewing machine. In other words, it's a cutesy item (it's bright pink and makes me think a Barbie doll should accompany it!) and can come through in a pinch but I was a little afraid to break it if I didn't treat it like glass and actually, I must have left the light on too long (20 minutes) because it is now burnt out. However, It absolutely did the job that I purchased it to do and then some. The only complaint that I have is that the bobbins, although plentiful, didn't have an easy way to start them. I wanted to change the thread color but couldn't get the same color bobbin to unravel! Also, I thought the machine was easy to handle but then again, I do have experience with sewing and sewing machines."

When the box came it was bigger then I expected and when I opened it. To my surprise it was a mini sewing machine with bobins and buttons stich removing tools and needles. I was like a kid at christmas because I always wanted a sewing machine but never really learned how to sew. Now I can practice on small things and come back to Overstock and get a bigger sewing machine.
I already have friends ready to buy one, this was a great deal and a great product"

"If you want something simple as a starter machine for your kid, then this is okay. While it may sew through three layers of cotton, the feed dogs can't pull that many layers through the foot, so you end up with a messy ball of thread that you have to snip off and then start over on. Additionally, my machine specifically (I really hope that all these machines don't do this) will run itself if turned on. So I have to leave the machine off (but still plugged in) and just step on the foot pedal to get the machine sewing. Very strange!
It's very light, comes with an A/C adapter, a thin plastic carrying bag (not hardcover case), tons of spools and bobbins in a HUGE array of colors, and the usual little pair of scissors, threader, and extra needle. I would've preferred a white machine like in the photo, but received a very pink one instead. In my opinion, $25.00 is overpriced, even for this item."

"Great little machine for quick fixes, especially if you do not normally sew. It's small and comes with A LOT of accessories. It is also very easy to use, but must be used with care because the outside parts are made of plastic."

"My only complaint is that the manual that comes with it is not very descriptive. I have never sewn anything on a machine before so it took me alot of trial and error to try and figure out how the sewing machine worked. Other than that, I do like it. "Works just like a normal sized sewing machine. It is necessary to know how to thread it, but the manual guide should tell you everything you need to know. It's lightweight and easy to carry- can be portable (with battery usage) or plugged into an outlet. It kinda bugs me that it doesn't have speed on the pedal and only has speed setting dial. It doesnt have ALL the features of regular sewing machine but it is a mini-machine so that's expected. The only thing I'm not quite fond of is that it's sorta loud (louder than i'd expect) when the needle is sewing but other than that, it is an excellent buy and most of all portable!"
