"I bought this for my husband for Christmas. Before purchasing it I really paid attention to the reviews. Since there were more on the positive side I took my chances and now regret it. The constant low humming sound happened as I was warned it would. It's like a dog whistle and we ended up turning off the surround sound all together. It doesn't have a remote which is a real hassle. Having to constantly get up and manually adjust it when the dvd sound levels change makes movie watching an unenjoyable experience. It will sound OK for a while and then music will blast on and be unendurably loud. It's like a shock to the system. We have it set up in a really small living room which I thought would hopefully help the dreaded 'humming' I was warned about but it didn't. I will never buy electronics online again. I purchased the 'protection plan' but don't believe the problem can be fixed. I think it's just inherent in the equipment -- especially since it's the same complaint with everyone. Plus, who wants to box it all back up, send it off to the unknown for who knows how long only to have it maybe come back and still be junk. Big hassle. Big mistake."

"I gave a big surprise for my family during thanksgiving holiday with this speaker set. My husband and two kids really likes it for our cozy family room.
We watched movie after dinner and this speaker sounds clear and great! We enjoyed very much, especially kids..^^
My husband said the sub is excellent and the price is way cheaper than its quality. Thanks!!"

"The sound is great, the speakers put out plenty of sound to fill my basement. The satellite speakers give off a 'hum,' which can be annoying depending on placement. There is n o remote to control the volume. But, a great price for the quality of speakers."

"These speakers were easy to set up. The instructions are a little vauge, but adequate. The wireless rear speakers had a low but constant whistle sound. It was very anonying when the sound is low or no sound. I have sent them back to the manufacturer, jWIN. They have received them, but I haven't received them back yet."

"Initial purchase of device didn't work. The back speakers' receiver wouldn't detect my sub. The second unit has a very high pitched, loud buzzing sound coming through the back speakers that no selectable audio channel can eliminate entirely. Sound quality on front speakers is excellent, just wish it worked all the way around."

"I was a bit concerned by the annonymity of the brand name as it was advertised here on O but decided I liked the look of it (which is all my girlfriend cares about) and would roll the dice and see how it's quality shaped up. For the price, it's a terrific value and does a great job creating a clear, warm envelope of sound in my living room that spans about 17'x8'. The wireless rear speaker set up is very tidy and easy to set up. I wish there were more options to connect the speakers to the subwoofer (i.e. speaker wires) as the RCA connections can be somewhat limiting when matched with certain receivers. Overall, this is a great, inexpensive solution to better living through acoustics."

"I bought this system for my boyfriend for his birthday. HE LOVES IT! We have no cords running anywhere! The only problem is, when we want to adjust the volume on the surround sound we have to get up. That is his only compliant (lazy). Other then that BUY THIS, it is worth it!"

"The
product is semi wireless in that the speakers are connected to each
component. You also need a special dvd/vcr to get surround sound. I
would not reccomend this product."

"This unit is not completely wireless, but it works for me. the front part speakers hook up with wire, as well as the back part speakers. But I do have to say that the front and the back is wireless. To me, that works, because I don't need to show a long wire from the front to the back."

"I just set received and set them up in my livingroom yesterday. It has very fashio/ sharp looking w/ silver greay which match with my audio system perfectly. The wireless feature is AWESOME!! I DONOT need to contact any wire from one end of room to another anymore. Although there still some wire needed, I still can eliminate the ugly wire expose much in the room. The cound quality is great and powerful for such a good deal. I love it!!! I would buy anyther for my Girlfriend shortly."

"this is a great speaker! It is my first time to hear about wireless speaker! I have a 5.1 channel wired speaker, although it is good, but the lines and cables I need to connect for all those speakers is a mess. The cables are all over my house. But these wireless speakers are COOL! I don't need to use cables and my house looks clean. Sound quality is good."
