"I love my retro-look blue and chrome toaster. All metal - I didn't realize how good that is. .. no rattles. No plastic to break. Ceramic shielded heating elements so no exposed coils. Heats perfectly. Controls are excellent - best I ever used. You can re-warm just right if you didn't get the toast out right away. You can easily stop the heating by pushing a button. Special control for bagels - only heats one side by pushing a botton. Easy to clean. Will look and function like new for years and years. Very glad I have it."

"My only complaint is even when you set the darkness of toast to the highest setting, it doesn't darken the toast as much as I personally like. But just putting it down again for a few seconds takes care of the problem. People who like toast lighter than I would probably have no issue with this.
This toaster is one of the best I've ever owned. It toasts appropriately quickly and cooks both sides of toast evenly, which is really important to me.
I also love the color and and style. If it cooked my toast just a little bit more on the darkest setting I would have given all categories a 5 rating.

"The unit is quite large, considering that the slots only hold a regular slice of bread. With a larger slice, the top is not evenly toasted. The slots are wide enough just not deep enough for home made bread."

"I think this will be the last toaster I will ever have to purchase and I'm 55! The color blue is bright, will go with any color retro or otherwise. Even the biggest bagels will fit this toaster. I was surprised at how big it is, so you will need plenty of counterspace, which I don't have, but it's too pretty to hide."
