"It performs fine but I had to put a new switch and receptacle because they did not last long. Mine actually ran longer on a tank of gas than the specs said it would. I used it to run the electrical for my camper at hunting camp. Remember it will not run A/C or a microwave oven, but It ran tv, all the lights, refrigirator, and the heater blower with no problems."

"My wife and I have a 50 acre farm that is wooded on two sides. On one side the wooded area has a creek that I can't get my truck across. On the other side it is a steep hill that is impossible to drive up. Over the years and with the drought situation we encountered this past summer alot of the trees have fallen. We have a fireplace and a wood burner that we use most of the time in the winter. My gas chain saw is broken but I do have a good electric one. Until now I have wondered how I could get into the woods and cut those trees up. Well let me tell you I had my doubts about this little generator but I have been cutting wood for the past week everyday and have had no problems with this generator. I am getting ready to oder at least one or two more. This little machine is fantastic and just what I need in the woods."

"Works great, comes with dc cable, I was able to jump-start my vehicle with this generator. The dc cord is a bit short but this seems to be the norm. The only bad thing is there is no warranty from the manufacture. Basically you have only the 30-day overstocks guarantee, after that you’re on your own if something goes wrong. I like that it puts out a true 1200 watts, I tested this to be sure. I recommend this product."

"The value was exceptional... the service getting the Bulldog to my house was exceptional, BUT...
So are with the exception of having a little more through information would help with this product for those of us who will maximize the unit would helpful.
I have been using the BullDog almost everyday. I finally had a problem and realized that the few pages that came to help users was a little bit flimsy with info.
I finally figured out the problem which is... if your fuel oil mixture is a little more than it should have been (that's another story in itself) it will clog up the EXHAUST and will kill the engine or it won't stay on properly.

"Appears that the box had been dropped prior to arrival as some parts fell off when i opened the box. The manual is not very detailed. The outlet does not have any support when you plug in a recepticle, so it pushed back into the unit and is kinda cheap. Otherwise once it was running, provided perfect power and was quieter than i expected. I think with a few mods in the construction of the unit would make this a great buy. Also It was missing one of the handle screws, so I had to go out and buy another one. Only .70 cents though so it didn't break the bank."

"I really like this generator! It seems to work well w/ my small travel trailer. This is the second one we bought, the first one we sent back because there were pieces broken off and not sure it was going to work properly w/o them. There was no problem sending back the first one. Hassle free! The second one is just fine and meant all of our expectations."

"Well built product at a very reasonable weight. Product provides for one AC outlet and a 12v battery charging outlet. This is exactly what I was looking for to be prepared for power outages during severe weather conditions. Probably a good idea to use a quality fuel stabilizer as an additive with the fuel/oil mix (50:1) you will be using with the generator to reduce contaminate build up in the fuel when not in use."

"I have two large generators but this one is ideal for short road trips in my RV. No, it won't run the AC unit but it is comparatively quiet and will power the tv , lights, and converter unit which charges the battery and works everything off 12 volt. It even has a separate 12V outlet for direct charge of a battery. I can't wait until it cools off so I can use my RV without shore power in the fall and winter."
