"Camera works great. Good quality pictures, easy to use, but the batteries that came with the camera were dead. You need to use Litheium batteries. Otherwise the camera is great."

"My camera is great! We just got back from Florida and I took the best pictures! The camera is definitely worth the price. However, we have had some difficulty turning it on regularly and the manual is not very helpful."

"After recording in video mode this Kodak C743 camera. I recorded in several different areas. There was a very high pitch noise when played back. I even down loaded it on to my computer. I tried to adjust audio controls to remove it. All to no avail. Although the Photo taking capabilities are great."

"I bought this camera because the one I had at work was stolen from my desk and I had to replace it. It works well, but there were a few glitches initially. The batteries were dead and needed to be replaced.
Also, the thingie that allows you to put the pictures into the computer didn't fit.....but my old one did. Overall, a good value as a refurbished camera."

"I like the camera...but the fact that it is refurbished seems to be an issue. I don't know if that is what is causing it to use batteries quickly or not. We went on a trip and I had to purchase and replace batteries 3 times within a 12 hour period.
The images are good. I have used Kodak cameras before so I had some idea of how to use this. It does not have some features that I liked on the other camera such as the Museum mode for picture taking. That is very helpful when you are taking pictures on a trip."

"This is my second camera (first one was damaged after Christmas while my youngest special needs child was in the hospital) and both of them take very high quality pictures/video. The first one (which I still have) still takes nice pictures, but I can see them until after I upload them to my computer. So I decided to get this second same make & model camera last month. It came the day before my special needs son's 16th birthday and it took some very awesome pictures at Adventure Aquarium in NJ, which captured special memories for him. If there is one thing that I can advise any one about this camera is to have a lot of high quality batteries near by. It does take a lot of juice to run this camera. However, the quality of the pictures make it worth it."

"I bought this as a christmas present for my daughter. She's 15 and has no problems operating it, she takes it everywhere with her. It has survived six flights, one cruise and three countries. I think we have already used what was paid. We have had no problems with it being refurbished. We did go ahead and purchase the protection plan, and for a few more dollars, it's worth the comfort of knowing we can return it for another two years if any problems should arise."

"We bought this camera for our daughter for her birthday. Upon receipt of the camera, discovered it took AA batteries. We thought we were purchasing a camera with rechargeable batteries. The camera eats up batteries like crazy! She is happy with the features and stuff but is constantly having to replace the batteries."

"I'm not sure about this camera. I used it for a couple of days at home - took some pics and video - everything seemed fine. My son is in Iraq and this was his christmas present. I mailed it to him and since he's had it over there, he's had problems. He says when he goes to turn it on to take a pic, lots of times the green light will come on and then it will turn red and not work. He says the batteries are charged, so this shouldn't be the problem. I think our plan is to now have him send it back to me and I will send to Kodak to find out what the problem is. We'll see .... As far as whether I would recommend this product, I will have to wait and see how Kodak handles the situation and if the camera will be fixed or replaced."

"I was a little nervous at first when looking at other's reviews of the product because it was either perfect or people weren't pleased at all. While others said it was good for a kid... well I was buying this for my boyfriend. But I was so surprised that it arrived within two days! I couldn't even tell it wasn't brand new, it looked even better than I thought it would. The features are amazing. And my boyfriend, who has had bad experiences with his cameras is more than pleased. The only thing we can't figure out is how to make the pictures thumbnail size on the computer, but I guess that's more of a user default than the camera's! WONDERFUL."

"Right out of the box it did'nt work right. LCD blacked out every other picture. Pictures were fuzzy. Feels cheap and fragile. I was a little leary buying a refurb, now I know why. Buyer beware!"

"We purchased one for my Mom for her birthday. We wanted something that offered ease of use, but created quality pictures. She mentioned that she really likes the size of the screen, so she can see what she is looking at without the use of her reading glasses. A bonus perk for her! Overall, she really likes her new camera and takes every opportunity she can to take pictures of her new grand daughter.
