"The chair was shipped quickly. I was able to assemble it in about 15 minutes. It was shipped with all the bolts already in place, so all you had to do was remove and put the pieces together and rebolt. That made it nice so you didn't have to worry about figuring out which bolt went where. Seems to be good quality chair. Very comfortable. Would recommend."

"Perfect for a student and everyday casual use. Took me 15 minutes to put together alone, and I'm not mechanically inclined. I read the other comments before I bought it, and thought it would be a nightmare to put it together, but it wasn't. I'm glad I bought it."

"I'm glad my dad is an engineer because he helped me put this together - I wasn't able to figure out the instructions on my own, but I was forewarned because of the other reviews.Overall it's been a good chair, but the plugs that cover over the screws in the armrests keep popping out. It's a comfortable chair even for sitting in a long time!"

"I am using this as my desk chair in the home office. The assembly instructions that come with the chair are fairly confusing. I'm glad I was putting together the furniture with a friend, because it definitely took both of us to figure out what the heck was going on. The finished product is comfortable enough but lower than I expected (even with the adjustment apparatus) -- though I dare say, I was at a membership-type wholesale store the other day and their desk chairs seemed to me to be sturdier, more comfortable, and roughly the same price as this one -- so I don't know if there's a lot of incentive to buy this chair unless you really, really like the color or the style."

"The chair looks good and is fairly comfortable for its low price. I put a small pillow at the waist of my back for extra cushion. Putting the rollers into the base was easy. No need for a hammer. Twist the shaft back and forth while pushing down. It was a little tricky to bolt the seat cushion and the back cushion to the frame. You have to compress them while trying to pick up the screw holes. Neither cushion overlaps the other. That's about it.."

"For many years we have always used office chairs for our eat-in kitchen. Our country kitchen/dining room is also our office, our TV room, and the place everyone gathers to visit, to talk business or whatever. It was time for new ones. About every 5 or 6 years, we move the older chairs to the "farmers' room" ( this is the room anyone can come in when he/she is not quite clean enough to come into the rest of the house) and buy new ones for the kitchen/dining room. These chairs are great! They are very comfortable. My daughter put them together for me. She had some difficulty lining up some of the holes for the screws and we had two caps that cover the screws missing, but I am calling the company about them. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a comfortable chair."

"I actually bought this chair to leave the arms off to go under a certain desk--but you cannot do that with this chair. The back and seat fasten together with the arms/arm rests. So I am living with it--but the chair is very comfortable and the fabric seems to be wearing well."

"Chair is very comfortable and stable. Rolls easily and has good adjustments for height and leaning back. Like the fabric and appearance. Assembly instructions were easy, but left out a usefull tip. Lay the upper segment on a stable, flat surface to assemble the two chair sections and arms. Tried assembly with seat on base post, but was very aqward."

"I am having a very difficult time finding a decent office chair at a reasonable price. I didn't want to pay $500-$1000 for a chair, yet this one is squeaking after just two days of use. We like the look and comfort, but how disappointing to deal with the noise on a brand new chair."

"I sit at my desk a great deal of the time for school and work my chair comfort is very important. I have in the past always went and sat in the chair first and found expense doesn't mean comfort. In this case the chair is in the same price line as others I have chose but not comfortable at all and seems very poorly put together. If i had bought this at a store I would have returned it."

"The reviews were good but I guess I was unlucky when I received mine. It was so hard to put together alone. When I finally put it together, the chair lift mechanism did not work. Overstock.com was great enough to assist me with return and refund. Also, note that some reviews say there's a zipper to remove the fabric so you can wash it. There is a zipper but I think it is just there as closure. If you wanna remove the fabric, you have to remove the arms of the chair (which by the way are so hard to put on). So better not to remove the fabric at all because it might be hard to put the fabric back on. Your choice folks."
