"This little "y" cable did just want I needed. It allowed me to place my iPod through my old stereo. The stereo is from the 80's and has an amazing sound system. Problem is, all of my music is now in mp3 format. I haven't listened to a cassette tape in about 15 years and I rarely even play cd's. I simply hooked the red/white ends into the phono ports and the single end into my iPod headphone jack. Yes, this was a small purchase but it made me happy BIG time!"

"Works great to get sound from your iPod, MP3 player, laptop or other audio device that has a standard headphone jack to say a TV or something else that has the red and white patch cord spots. Sound is great, not crackling or anything. Not disappointed at all. Definitely recommend."

"I almost bought one of those BOSE ipod speaker systems, if you have a stereo - get this. Many places have them, but this one does work, and is as easy as 1-2-3! This is a great way to listen to your ipod at home! and it works just fine! No instructions - but not needed, i can even plug it into my TV!"
