"Sleek design (measure counter height before you buy), great 12 cup capacity for guests, easy programming, brews coffee right on time, easy to fill water reservoir, easy to see fluid level, coffee keeps HOT all day if left in pot, fits right into corner of counter to save space, easy open coffee basket. Refurbished, but not a scratch on it with terrific performance. I just love it and couldn't ask for more. A great coffee pot at a tremendous discount price."

"Super coffee maker! We have had this model already for a couple of years and our coffee gets rave reviews. (Good french roast and a gold filter help of course!) We needed to purchase a coffee maker for our office so naturally we looked for this model again and were delighted to see it avaiable at Overstock for a great price. The thermal carafe is a must have -- no more burnt coffee, but plenty of hot coffee.
The newer model is even better looking than the previous one, with a stainless steel brew basket as well as carafe. The only bad thing I can say about our new coffee maker is that the "ready" beep is a bit shrill, but that only lasts for a few seconds and the resulting coffee is sooooo worth it."

"We love this coffee maker. The coffee is good and it stays hot for hours. But after only 9 months it quit working, leaking badly and did not heat. We knew it was refurbished but took a chance anyway. Bad decision because the warranty is only for 90 days. It is a great idea but could not recommend because of the reliability issue."

"Mine arrived in perfect like new condition. Nothing to indicate it has been a customer return. It really does keep coffee hot for an entire day. I have used a thermal coffee maker for years and would never go back to the glass and burner models ! If I had any complaint at all it would be the design of the filter basket. It if is not seated in the holder exactly perfect, the holder will not close. It takes several attempts to seat the filter holder/basket every single time and that is SO annoying ! This is a design issue only but it might keep me from buying this model again. For the money, I think this is a great deal !"

"We used to have a higher priced brand (loved it, too), but this one is just as good for about 1/2 the price. Very easy to clean and the program feature is a godsend in the morning. The coffee stays hot for HOURS! I also like that there is no warming plate to worry about. No more, "did I turn off the coffeepot?" in the middle of the day. The only thing I can think of that would possible make this better is if it had a built in grinder for the beans."

"I have only used the coffee maker a couple times since our recent purchase, but it's great so far. Before using the coffee maker the first time, you are instructed to "brew" plain water through the machine. I experimented and left that hot water in the carafe overnight -- it stayed steaming hot for a full 24 hours. I enjoyed being able to pre-brew the coffee for friends and then leave the carafe on the counter throughout the morning without having to leave the entire coffee maker out (as it is rather large). Even though there were negative reviews about overflow and difficulty putting the carafe lid on, etc. I am finding this coffee maker to be simple to use. I've had no problems aligning the lid or basket. There is a small hole in the back of the water reservoir that would cause overflow if you filled it beyond the 12 cup capacity, but this is simple to see and avoid. Overall I think this will be a great purchase."

"Pros: Coffee tastes good with no funny plastic or metallic aftertaste; keeps coffee hot in the thermal carafe and with no hotplate to continue cooking the coffee, every cup tastes great; looks really nice; funnel coffee basket concentrates water and coffee as it brews so you can use less coffee - a real plus as coffee prices go up!
Cons: the only way to see how much water you put in is to turn the unit sideways to see the level indicator; the five beeps that signal the end of the brew cycle are so loud it could wake up a light sleeper in the house.
Overall, we are very pleased with this product...it was exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay."

"We are very pleased with this coffee maker/caraffe & have been using it for about one month now. We have gone through 3 regular glass-type pot coffee makers in the last five years, and either something has broken electronically, or the glass pot has broken or cracked. No need to worry about the pot breaking in this! The stainless steel caraffe is VERY durable! It also keeps coffee very hot for hours on end. The 12-cup feature is great, especially when we have guests. Most caraffe's I've seen are only 10-cups. It brews the regular speed of any other coffee maker, so thats nice. The timer feature is nice also, and we can set it to make cofffee before we ever wake up in the morning (just be careful with this because it 'beeps' after done brewing, so be sure you won't wake anyone up too early with it). Overall we're 100% satisfied & would reccomend it."

"excellent product....bought one for my parents last christmas - got this one for half the price! always hesitant about "refurbished" products and everytime surprised with the inability to tell the difference. those not familiar with the ease of how a thermal carafe coffeemaker works should take the time to read the instructions....it's very simple. keeps coffee warm overnight as long as you "pre-warm" the thermal carafe, just like the instructions tell you to do."

"I was hoping by brewing into a carafe that the coffee would not taste stronger or over heated if it sat for a while. I was disappointed that the last of the pot was not much different than my old coffee maker which brewed into a pot that sat on a heating element.
