"I don't know why I didn't think of getting a fryer sooner! This is so easy to operate. I've never used a fryer before and don't fancy myself a chef (more of a burner than cooker) but this is so easy to use. There are pictures of what you're cooking to help you chose the right temperature and then an easy-to-operate timer. I love this fryer. It would make an excellent addition to anyone's kitchen."

"I bought this for a Christmas gift for my single nephew. He's called me twice to thank me and is excited by the performance of the deep fryer. The basket is small and holds just the right amount for one person. I also thought that the color being on the handle was different and attractive. It's good for the price."

"Got the Fryer but haven't used it yet so can't really comment on some of the ratings which is why I gave average. I do think it is well made but large for the size of the cooking space which seems small. But hey my waiste could probably handle smaller helpings of fried food anyway."

"I really like this product so far, I've only used it twice though. My only problem is the color. I think the description is misleading. It should be stated that only the handle, not the whole thing, is colored. I ordered red, and the only part that is red, is the handle. So that was the only disappointing thing for me. Also, I cooked beer battered onion rings in it, and the batter just was a disaster to cook in it. It does great with flour breading or breadcrumb breading, not too good with liquid batter. Liquid batter gets everything to stick together and gets all over the inside, making the oil burn. But being that everything comes apart, makes for very easy cleaning."

"This machine i thought was going to be answer to my dreams when needing to fry a lot of seafood or chicken. However, it turned out to be a nightmare.No matter how many times i tried to fry our dinner a certain way, breaded pieces of meat stuck either together or to the basket supplied. It was a nightmre because I had spent so much money on this seafood dinner and it was destroyed by this fryer. Please stick with fry daddy or grandpappy. I have never had issue with them. Keep it simple when it comes to frying. One more thing cleaning up this fryer is a major pain, so in frustration i threw my in the garbage can. Judy"

"i like that the unit comes apart easily for cleaning. i got rid of my old fryer because it got so gross i didn't want to eat anything that came out of it anymore although it still worked fine. the basket comes out, the heating element comes out and the metal liner that holds the oil comes out as well. you can completely disassemble it and put it back together easily. heats up quickly and cooks efficiently, the timer seems a little cheap but other than that i like it and would recommend it (also the order confirmation said i would recieve a black unit and i recieved white instead, this didn't matter to me but beware you could recieve wrong color)"

"After a month of conversing with Overstock's WONDERFUL Customer Serice Dept, I have learned that my new red deep fryer is really supposed to be mostly white with only a red face-the temperature controls & basket handle are red...rather strange looking...quite retro. However, the features on this model are the best of all the deepfryers on the market & a price that can't be beat anywhere!!! If you are purchasing it for a gift, be sure to get either the white or black color option...the other colors look a bit odd being two-toned....but the features & price more than compensate for it's appearance.

"I love this thing. The whole unit comes appart so that I can clean it easily. It really is cool to the touch and it heats up quickly. I didn't give it 5 stars because the timer sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. BUT I didn't purchase it for that. I wanted something easy to fry with that kept my counter clean and could clean up quickly. That's what I got. The price was a bonus. I've checked online and Overstock had it much cheaper!"
