"I purchased this juicer as a gift for a family member after researching and shopping around. This machine appears to be the very best there is (for the home market). It really makes a ton of juice with just some pulp in the discard bin to go to the composter. The gift recipient is VERY pleased and is trying out all the great recipes in the booklet included -- as well as making many of her own. She is saving money by not buying from the juice bars/shops. It seems to be very well-made and is impressive when it is juicing. Tons of power. I would highly recommend this product."

"It is easy to clean up you dont have to chop things in tiny sizes to juce them, I juiced an entire pineapple ,minus the rind of course, and only chopped it into four sections. its wonderful the next step up is an industrial juicer which is at least a couple thousand dollars"

"I tried a few others before I decided on this one. It is big and powerful and works really fast, so if you are in a hurry, this will do the job. The only drawback is I sometimes have to put the veggies through twice because it works so fast it sometimes makes chunks. Don't mind though, because the size is so big there is plenty of room in the juice catcher to get it all. It comparable to the jack lalane one, but you have to use a special accessory to screw the filter in for that one, and this one just pops in...and the stainless steel does not take on the carrot and beet colors like those plastic ones do. I love it! Definitly worth the extra $"

"Great investment. Way, way better than any of my previous less expensive juicers. Finally decided to spend the dollars -- and it's worth every penny. Very fast, efficient; & hardly any pulp compared with Juiceman II & others of that ilk. Put in a handful of spinach with my carrot juice and must've gotten a full 1/8 cup of juice, whereas I'd be lucky to get a teaspoon full from my previous juicers. Quick to clean. I just air dry the parts and then put 'em back together. Nice-looking machine, too. ONLY downside: carrots immediately stain the chute, which is a shame because it's all so handsome until that happens. But it's not enough to deter me from rating this juicer tops!"

"It is a quick and powerful juicer but it spits out a lot of fruit and vegetables chunks that are not juiced. The pulp also contains a lot of liquid, so one has to rerun the food chunks and pulp through the machine again to get close to the maximum amount of possible juice out. The reason why I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend is because there are better juicers out there that extract more juice the first time around. I was disappointed with the juicer because it didn't do its job as well as I thought it would for such an expensive juicer."

You really have to use the most popular juicer on the market to fully appreciate the Breville. You must keep re-placeing the grinder disk in the other cheaper juicer. It is not stainless steel so it is harder to clean.
I have used the Breville for 5 years. I purchased this one for my son.

"I've never owned a juicer before. This juicer is easy to use, easy to clean and does not take up much space on the counter. The recipes in the handbook are very tasty and will get you started on some delicious blends. I was expecting more noise but it is fairly quiet. Do yourself a favor, if you are serious about wanting to juice get this juicer."
