"My daughter is very tough on her room and belongings. Due to this issue, I was hesitant to spend a lot of money on a bed but she was in great need of a new one. However, after shopping for a reasonably priced frame with a fair quality, I was hardpressed to want anything at all! Then I thought I'd check out Overstock.com. because I'd seen beautiful beds for sale in the past. This bed caught my eye-the price was fair and the shipping was a $1. I called Customer Service to verify the return policy and ordering sounded like a win/win situation. I went ahead with the order and it arrived in perfect condition and was sturdier than I expected. My husband had it put together before I made it home from work (and without ANY complaints). My daughter is extremely happy with her new bed. The finish is very antique looking and blends in well with her very girly, Victorian wallpaper! I would highly recommend this bed because of its beauty, quality and great value!"

"I received this bed exactly on time, and although box punctured in several small places, this bed was so well packed and protected, no damage at all! It is sooo gorgeous, and the metal craftmanship is near perfect. Only thing is that the footboard holes did not exactly align with the frame holes, unless you skipped putting on the gliders on the frame legs , then after attaching footboard, put the gliders on, which raise and support the frame. the directions want you to put on all gliders first. No biggee, and all is fine. It is magnificent, I always wanted one, and thank Overstock for carrying it!! It is heavy, well made, has a vertigre tint in the dark copper design, which you cannot see in the picture. I was ecstatic to see this on arrival. Thanks again Overstock!"

"I bought this for my daughter's...very small...bedroom and I figured any size twin bed would fit. Well, it is a bit too big, but it is a beautiful bed. We will need to buy a different one because they will not return it but I have had several friends comment on how pretty it is, so I should be able to get a decent price out of it."

"I ORDERED THIS BED FOR MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER'S NEW BEDROOM. OUT OF ALL THE BEDS WE LOOKED AT, THIS WAS THE ONLY ONE SHE WANTED. THEY RAN OUT OF STOCK THE FIRST TIME I TRIED TO GET IT, BUT GOT SOME MORE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER. THE PRICE HAD INCREASED BY $20+, BUT WHEN THE BED CAME IN, I HAD NO COMPLAINTS. IT IS A VERY HEAVY, STURDY BED, AND SHE LOVES IT! MY ONLY REAL COMPLAINT IS THAT THE RAILS ARE ATTACHED LOW ON THE HEAD AND FOOT BOARDS. I WORRY ABOUT THE STURDINESS AT SUCH A LOW INTERSECT, BUT IT IS HOLDING UP REALLY WELL. I HAD LOOKED UP THIS BED ON OTHER SITES, IT WAS SELLING FOR $500+ THE OTHER PLACES I FOUND IT. OVERSTOCKS BATS 1000 AGAIN. I DO BELIEVE I AM ADDICTED TO OVERSTOCK.COM! IT IS VERY EASY TO ORDER FROM THEM, AND I HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED YET! CHRISTMAS HAS BEEN A BREEZE THIS YEAR."

"Bed frames aren't necessarily the easiest things to assemble, just because of their bulk. There usually aren't that many steps however. The assembling of the frame was extremely simple. The pieces had keyhole style connections that snapped & locked together with a spring loaded latch. There were no thumbscrews to deal with. The most time consuming part was attaching the head & footboard to the frame. Both boards were threaded, so this wasn't any harder than normal. The end result was a sturdy bed that looks good.
From the pictures, it looks like a dark metal finish. It's actually an antique copper style finish. It has a rusty, dark-brown, appearance. Of course, it's not really antique copper. It's painted on. That way, your clothes don't get stained by handling it. It's a heavy guage steel. It won't get dented or bent easily. All in all, it's a great bed for the price. As with most products purchased from Overstock, It's much better quality than one would expect for the price. Local stores were charging the same price or more for just headboards. I can't complain about the shipping."
