"I was looking for a smaller unit than this one turned out to be and it is louder than they said. I can't leave it on high while we are in the room. Overall, not the best choice for what I wanted."

"This is my first humidifier I own and its not bad. I have used it for the last past three days and it does what it supposed to do. The tank reservoir for the water placement has a twist off nozzle with a very tight seal that does not leak water. I like the handle cause it helps balance the weight of the water once you put it on. Not bad. I will write more reviews within a month. Let see how long this will last."

"I bought this product b/c I have been waking up very dry lately. The water in the humidifier makes quite a bit of noise and it keeps waking me up in the middle of the night. In addition, if I put it on the higher level option, the fan is extremely loud. Overall, I wish it were quieter and I'd be happier."

"This has been a great product. Very reasonably priced. I am pregnant and within 24 hours of plugging the humidifier in, my crazy allergies brought on my hormones almost stopped completely! And we can continue to use it when baby arrives."

"I bought this product because I generally trust Hamilton Beach for both quality and good prices, but I was totally disappointed with this vaporizer. The air in my tiny room remained dry even at the high setting, and after just two uses I retired it into storage."

"We've had this humidifier running in my kid's room every night for about 3 weeks. He seems better, in fact everyone in the house seems to have less nasal dryness. I hope it continues to work this well for a couple years minimum."

"This humidifier works great, is easy to clean, and allows me to sleep comfortably all night long with little noise. The only drawback is that after less than a month of use the filter has developed mildew. At $10 per filter, replacing them once a month is not an option. I take the filter out every morning so it can dry out but to no avail. If it did not have this problem the humidifier would be perfect."

"This humidifier is quiet, efficient, easy to fill and/or empty, and fits on a small flat surface. We have a rather large bedroom and I doubted the humidifer would work well enough to make a difference. I was wrong. I haven't had another nose bleed since using the humidifer on a nightly basis. I recommend it highly for those winter nights when you just have to have heat on in your bedroom."

"We had our old hamilton beach humidifier die on us last year. It was very noisy and I was a bit nervous getting another one. But this model is very quiet hardly notciable in low mode. The only time you hear it is when the water bottle gurgles for air. Other than that we love it."

"You cannot beat the price on this humidifier, especially with the low shipping rate. It works very well in a small-to-medium sized room and it looks very unobtrusive. I recommend it for anyone who lives in an apartment and has heat blasting in the rooms even with the vents turned off!"

"Machine nice looking and IS, as claimed, very quiet. Upon handling it, however, one notices that it feels WAY less than 'sturdy' and the fans, although quiet, circulate very little, if any, air. It fills easily and secures well such that all dripping is prevented. My house, tho, is very dry and the machine doesn't even empty (nowhere close) over the course of 24 hours (very under-powered). So, although I was concerned about the relatively small 'tank' it doesn't make much difference. Although it has 'settings' the modes don't actually seem to vary (except, of course, the "off and on" button -- ha,ha). Disappointed ... the price is good but also creates a quandry for the frugale shopper as the shipping fees to return it (whether pre-paid by Overstock or simply taken to the Post Office) equal a large percentage of the price, thus, making it a bit of a 'lose/lose situation'."
