"My usual glf partner has one of these and we've been playing together for 2+ years. I have ownd three diferent range finders, all inferior to this rangte finder for golf purposes. They all seem to be designed for hunting wih golf markings applied to the outside cover. This one is made for golf and is always accurate. It clearly distinguishes between trees in the backgroung and the flag/stick. You put the flag in the circle inside the viewfinder, hit the button, and get the yardage - simple and accurate. It also has a slope reading, telling you how many degrees up down he flag is from where you're standing. It compansates for the slope and tells you the additional yardage you should hit to compensate for the slope. It's not GPS, but it is accurate and easy to use"
