"Good Performance, Could use a biger Basket to catch papers. Had to empty every 50 pages. Had a lot to shred Is there one that makes smaller shreding paper. Filled up garbage bags of shredded paper just crinkled, not cross cutting the way it was advertized. Got the job done anyway. A lot of james paper cought in Shredder bar Is there a way to make shredder bar that could seperate to get the cought paper out. Over heated when i was trying to get the jamed paper out. Other wise it is good to get all that old stuff out of the house."

"As others have stated this is not a high use machine.......ok for home but not if you are going to put it to heavy use. I could not find anything at this price that was better here so it was a good buy for me.It is nice looking though! But not my best Overstock purchase ever."

"I just received my Fellows shredder and although I was fortunate to get free shipping and a reasonable price it was not as I expected. I thought I was receiving a confetti cut but it shreds in strips. I also do not like that It cuts off after about 7min of continuous shred cycles and cools down about 20 minutes later. The speed difference between 3 sheets vs 8 sheets is a significantly slower. I will keep this shredder for I hate returning purchases and after I finish shredding my accumulation of papers in my home it will suffice its use for occassional shredding."

"We only shredded a few items at a time. I felt we had to continually turn this off, or the top would get hot. It was left on the other day and now I cannot get it to turn on. We only shred junk mail, so there is no reason this should have died in only a few months.,"

"Got this for frequent home use and have been very pleased. Unit is very easy to use and does what it says. Difference in speed from single sheets to two or three sheets is significant, but still is more than adequate. Unit fits nicely on the catch bin, is very easy to open and keeps dust and paper well in place. Only want is wishing the catch bin was a bit larger, as it fills up fairly fast. Very happy with this unit over a couple days of heavy use. I would suggest this model to anyone who wants something they can depend on."

"I gave 5 stars in every catagory for this shredder, (despite having it not work without holding the switch down manually), because when we reported the problem, Overstock.com immediately shipped a replacement that was perfect. We would highly recommend this shredder and especially doing business with Overstock.com, who definitely stand by their products."

"Just started using the shredder so cannot give an excellent rating at this time. Easy plug in and ready to use and the price was good.
Time will tell if the shredder will stand up to everything it claims it will do. Otherwise, glad I have a new unit and I intend to use it in my office on a regular basis."

"This is a great little shredder for the money. It's not too noisy, is very powerful, and doesn't even slow down when I shred a credit card. My only gripe is with emptying it. You have to lift the heavy top completely off to empty the container. It's hard not to get shredded bits on the floor."

"While a bit on the loud side, this shredder certainly does the job! I am very happy with its performance. The accordion-clipped bits that remain of every document I shred make it virtually impossible to flatten and tape back together to get any confidential data. The remains make great paper mulch in my garden, as well."

"This shredder has performed with no problems. Have to remove the shredding head to emplty, but for the money I'll do that. I haven't shredded 8 pages at once. Only did 5 because it slowed down after that. I don't want to break it."

"I've used many shredders before - one only lasted a week under the brutal tearing of paper into strips. This one is going to last. You can tell from the way it goes. The only thing that I'm missing is a way to destroy CDs. This won't jam up on staples like some past ones have, and the reverse actually reverses. The instructions that come with it actually tell you how to care for it, not just "To clean, use a damp cloth, and don't use chemicals as they might discolor the casing." This is a quality product that will last a while. (Under my use, maybe more than a month! or two!)
One word of advise though - when you go to empty it, have something sitting in front of the machine you can later empty, as it seems to "fling" the shredded paper out once the bin starts to fill up. (NOt a problem with the product itself, but a design issue with the bin the paper falls into.)"
