"My husband and I travel all summer and thought this would be a great alternative to carrying all our CD's. Downloading music to the Sansa was super easy. Took a while to get used to the operation (should have read the manuel). Only drawback is that the "shuffle" does not work. After attempting many times to truly get a shuffle" of the 700+ songs, (it has GREAT capacity) I discovered on-line that this is a huge problem with this particular model. Other than that, it works great -- I guess I should have purchased a more expensive model for better "random" play."

"My SanDisk Sansa Express died after only two weeks. I called tech support numerous times, they told me the circuit blew and that I have to send it back to them for a replacement."

"Good MPS for the price with more storage than many others in it's price range. Does not have a "video screen" which many may not like; but it also does not require a cable to connect player to your computer. For just listening to music with plenty of storage and easy down-loading, this player fits the bill at a reasonable price."

"Be sure you download the firmware updater from the Sansa website before you use your Sansa Express. If you don't, it will refuse to power up after only a few hours use. Once you fix this 'little' problem, this is a great machine for those who only want portable music. It is tiny, very lightweight, sounds great, holds a LOT of music (the 2 GB), and the USB port is extremely convenient. But the funky firmware is a definate problem."
