"I brought this typewriter for some light typing at home. For some reason, this typewriter just didn't work out that great for me. I found it difficult to use and the user's manual was difficult to follow. I couldn't get the daisy wheel to line up with the keys. And when I did manage to get the wheel to line up with the keys, I had trouble getting the correction key to work. This whole experience was very frustrating for me so in the end, I had to return it."

"I bought this typewriter based on the positive reviews I read on here, plus the price seemed very good for all the features the typewriters has to offer. It is the worst typewriter I have ever owned! I installed everything correctly on the typewriter as instructed, but lining the daisy wheel drove me crazy. I kept resetting it and resetting it. After an hour of hit and miss with the resetting, it was finally lined up. So I am typing away and then at times, the daisy wheel would not be lined up with the correct key and I needed to use the correction key. The correction wasn't working. So after hours and hours of taking it out and putting it back in to make sure it was put in correctly, it was still not working. I was so desperate and frustrated that I went on the Brother's website for support and even other typewriter support forums for help. No luck. I read other reviews from other online sources for this particular typewriter and everyone else who has ever bought this ML 300, found it a nightmare to use. Oh, and I should mention that the instruction guide/manual that the typewriter comes with, is not very helpful and the instructions are vague and difficult to follow. So after a week of fussing with it, I had to return it. I don't recommend this typewriter. You're better off getting a traditional typewriter instead of these daisy wheels ones."

"Excellent product. I am used to typing on a computer so was a little leary of useing a typewriter. Put the view feature is great. Lets you type a line and do any corrections before it is typed on paper. The carrier is situated where the letters will be even though it is not yet typed on the paper. This helps for spacing and placement of the words."
