"My first snow shovel so nothing to compare it to but happy with my purchase. The first day I used it on soft snow and it worked fine. Later that day it rained so the next day the snow was hard, icy and VERY hard to near impossible to shovel through. The shovel stood up to the abuse without cracking."

"I bought 2 of these shovels since my almost 8 year old daughter wants to "help shovel the car from a mound of snow," which has not happened yet this winter in NYC -- only had 2 inches so far. It is made of aluminum and plastic so it's light; it looks sturdy enough and the color is quite attractive."
