"We recently moved, and had to leave our old Sharp Microwave, which was an over-the-range exhaust-hood model. We loved the old one, and decided to buy another. However, we had to buy a counter-top model, but this works just as well our original. Don't be put off by the controls being obscured by the door panel. You'll get used to it, and it looks much nicer than other microwaves we've owned. A new feature, the minute plus button, is great!"

"Still quite new so still too early to say if there are/will be any problems. We have always had good luck with Sharp Carousel microwave ovens so don't anticipate that this time will be any different. A quality product, received quickly, packaged well, and reasonably priced."

"My son loves it. He needed something to heat up something quick. The cart works very well since he has a small apartment in New York City and the microwave fits perfectly on top of it. He really like the shelves on the cart for storage. The microwave itself is great has everything he needs."

"This is an excellent product, but has one major flaw as I see it, the key board where you enter/select info is not lit therefore many times I need to hold a flashlight on the key pad to see what I am doing.
It is well made construction wise and looks great but the above flaw limits my favorable vote for this one."

"Microwave is a replacement for a similar unit six years old which quit working. It has been updated somewhat but is not as easy to use as it's predessor. Now the push buttons are inside and the door must be open to operate them which is very inconvenient. The prior design was much better and I am disappointed with this new model. I am sorry that I bought it."

"This is a very nice microwave. Arrived quickly and works very well... much faster and quieter than my old one. The only reason I didn't give up a full 5-star rating is because the design, to be "perfect," should be a "fingerprint proof" stainless steel finish. It looks very modern and sleek, but there are finishes today that don't show fingerprints... on a microwave that's handled every day, that should be a no-brainer. Oh well... it's still a great value."

"I love it !! It is perfect size. All the other reviews talked how big it was. My last Sharp microwave was too small. And that microwave still works, my husband stole it for work to have hot lunches. It is quiet.
Cooks my food, defrost my food and the minute plus is a nice addition to have. I like the fact the controls are covered up when the door is shut. You will not go wrong with this microwave !!!"

"I got this microwave for a replacement of the original one I ordered that was sent then out of order. It has a sharp look to it, but its hard getting used to opening it, putting food in...selecting time THEN shutting the door to press start! Overall it works good, and looks nice."

"You get use to hitting the button more than once.... so the turn table doesn't spin .....then you finally break down and get this new one....Yikes what a difference. The machine looks great, cooks great, and was a super deal. It's not as small as I thought it was when I ordered it. I'd say it's a medium size machine, which suits me fine. Cooks things in a fraction of the time that my very old machne did...and it's quiet. Very easy to figure out how to run. Order one you won't regret it."

"I bought this microwave to replace the other Sharp that had finally given out. This is the same size and wattage as my previous one, only it's in stainless. This is a great microwave, you can't beat them, plus the only buttons on the outside are popcorn, 1-minute and the start/clear and stop. It's midsize and I use it on a cart not the counter, can't beat it!"
