"I have recently installed one of the cartridges in my printer and it seems to be working o.k. However, I was not aware that I was buying an out-of-date product, and that the packaging would be different than as shown. Another thing I did not like was that there was no mail-back for recycling envelope included. I am rating the performance 4 stars, but admit I really don't know how the cartridge will continue to perform, having just recently installed it. However, I am always ready to save some money as the cost of these cartridges is pretty outlandish for what you get. On the price factor alone I would recommend it to a friend."

"As some have stated these cartridges are expired, but I purchased 2 at the same time and neither of mine were expired. They are perfectly good HP products and carry the HP warranty. They are a great price that you will NOT find anywhere else. They perform just fine."

"These cartridges are perfectly-fine original HP products. They're generally "expired", which is the reason for the bargain price...but, per Overstock.com, "are still good ink cartridges and are under warranty from HP...they are covered for up to 12 months after your installation date."
I've purchased about a dozen in the last year, and have never had a problem."

"Great value, perfect product. I use this ink in my portable picture printer for my digital camera. I only use HP products, and the appropriate inks for them. I have purchased this product at other stores and paid at least 10-20% more than I did at overstock. Thanks to you overstock, I can print more pictures for my family and friends without going broke paying for the ink!"

"I received this cartridge in a padded envelope. The printer cartridge was wrapped in the HP foil wrapping then in plastic, no outer cardboard box. So, no recycling of the box. The cartridge was easy to install, just as usual. My printer calibrated the new cartridge, printed a test page and we were off an running. ThIs is a genuine HP cartridge at roughly half the price."
