"My child loves thier Free Rider - they use it everyday and is getting bertter at manipulating corners and hills - The only thing that I am disappointed with is a piece 7 x 1 inch fell off on the third day they had it. It is a decorative piece and we are trying to secure it back to the Free Rider."

"The surf caster is a great gift idea 4 pre-teens and up my 11yr old loved it when he got it 4 his birthday even though the day after the wheel came off but my husband tightened the wheel and it's been a go ever since,i would diffently recommend this product it's great"

"I bought this item for my 8 yr old son for Christmas. It has been 7 months and it still looks great and everyone in the neighborhood has road it. It takes a little time to master so he hasn't sat in front of the TV much....I'm not complaining! I would recomend to anyone. Great price and comes with a bag for carrying."

"I bought this for my nephew at Christmas. He was a little wobbly at first, but it didn't take him long to get the hang of it. The next time I went home, he was cruising around the track. He absolutely loves it, especially the fact that there's no peddling or pushing off the ground. It was also a plus that he was the first one to get one of these. "This freerider was in perfect condition when I received it. It came with a case and two metal tighteners for the wheels. It also has a little ledge (one inch) on the back to put your foot on to keep from sliding off. The color is bright, and the rubber is very sturdy."

"We purchased this skateboard and it was ridden by a 180lb man just once. He had just started riding it and it broke in half. The warrenty stated that it was approved up to 220 lbs. We were very dissappointed"

"We bought the freerider because it's cheaper than the ripstick. The freerider is not as fast as the ripstick, the center bar is shorter, less flexibility, cheaper material. I would say the freerider would be satisfying for younger kids & beginners, but for older more experience kids, the ripstick offers more challenge."

"We had purchased a ripstick for one son at $100 and wanted something not so expensive. This was the same size in length and width and less expensive. The difference is the motion in the middle. It is a little stiffer but is actually better for my 9 year old. He is enjoying it."

"I think the Freerider is a great deal compared to the ripstick version going for $100 plus in stores. My 11 year old received this for Christmas, and began 'practicing' it right away. It is tricky, though. He is not the most athletic child, but he managed to get this figured out right away and it continues to be one way for him to get exercise. A boy on the cul-de-sac noticed that it wasn't the ripstick and commented on that, but nothing has ever been said about that again. This one is 30 bucks cheaper and just as cool."

"I bought the sidewalk surfer for my sons 13th birthday. I have shopped around for other similar products and the Free rider side walk surfer is very well constructed and a awesome value!! My son is almost 5 10 and 180 pounds and he has rode it every day for three weeks without any problems!! "When I received this product, the zipper on the cover had been damaged during shipping. My son said it didn't really matter, but I thought I would check with Overstock anyway. I emailed Overstock and I was told I would receive a new cover in 3-4 days. What I received was an entirely new skateboard with a perfect cover. I was told not to return the previous skateboard, just keep them both. AMAZING!!!"

"i bought one of these for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas and by the afternoon, she was racing around the neighborhood on it. She really loves it and rides it any chance she can. My 13 year old son who plays a lot of sports wanted to try it as well. So after some strong arm convincing, she agreed to allow him to try it. It took him a few trys to get the hang of it but within an hour, he was also racing around the neighborhood. Now was my dilemma.... 2 children, 1 Free Rider..... So of course i did what any father would do.... I went in the house and jumped on Overstock.com and ordered another one. Of course i had to have it overnighted so as to avoid further stong arm tactics from her brother. His arrived right on time and now they are both riding (and racing) as often as they can. I think the Free Rider is great for kids because it gets them outside.... gets them some activity and helps them with balance. Its not bad for adults too. But unless you buy one for yourself, dont expect too much ride time...."
