Deadwood: The Comeplete Third Season (DVD)

HBO delivers another stunning, evocative drama in DEADWOOD. The channel has an impressive reputation when it comes to producing edge-of-your-seat television (THE SOPRANOS, SIX FEET UNDER), and DEADWOOD follows neatly in that tradition. Set in 1876, the story unfolds just two weeks after the defeat of Custer at Little Big Horn. The grim and unsentimental series revolves around the outlaws, miscreants, and murderers in the frontier gold-rush town of Deadwood in the Dakota Territory. Seth Bullock, a former Montana sheriff, and his buddy Sol Star arrive in town to set up a hardware store; soon, they`re crossing paths with such legendary Western figures as Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Reaping the benefits of the lawless, merciless world is Al Swearengen, the saloon and brothel owner. The third and final season of the show is included here.

"I absolutely LOVE Deadwood. The first episode it might take some getting used to the language and violence, but both are pretty historically accurate. The first season is my favorite, but once you start watching this show, you just want more and more! It's definitely an adult program. There is no way I would allow any children to view it. Any friend I've had watch it has become addicted to it...I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!"

"Wow. The price from Overstock was almost 30% less than from a 'major big box' retailer.
I would NOT RECCOMEND this for child audiences. But for adults this is high entertainment.
AL Swearengen should of run for Prez, with Mr. Wu as VP.
I would reccomend purchasing Seasons 1 & 2 for story continuity and additional inspiration."
